Techno softly yawned as he parked his car into the employee's only section of the parking lot and turned it off. He grabbed his belongings off the car and locked the door making sure all doors were closed.

He looked around looking up at the rather grey sky. It's pretty early for people to be up at this hour but Techno has work and duties to attend to. He then sighed and went over to the door of his workplace, which is a coffeehouse.

He noticed the lights were on in the building so he opened the doors with his keys and locked the door behind him. "I see you finally decided to show up" a man around his age said as he cleaned one of the dining tables.

"Good morning to you too, dream" techno said as he walked behind towards the employees room and to his locker. He placed in his belongings and got his uniform ready. It was made up of a simple white tucked in long sleeve with the coffee shop apron.

Techno hoped today will be a simple and slow day so he doesn't have to try as hard for his work. He neatly tied his apron and as soon as he closed his locker his coworker, dream showed up and leaned against the locker next to him with a smirk.

"This is the second time I've come to work before you, you're getting old" he said with a laugh. Techno rolled his eyes as he went over to the kitchen and waved at his other co-workers.

"Techno! I'll make you a quick pancake with coffee big man!" One of the cooks said as techno nodded and walked over to hand her some money. "No no, it's on the house techno" she said as she gave him a pat on the back and pushed him away from the kitchen. "Anyways, what's up with you techno?" Dream asked as the duo went and sat at an empty table.

"Nothing has changed from the last time you asked" techno responded which made dream raise an eyebrow. "Geez, techno. You have to do something more with your life other than stream Minecraft" dream said as he crossed his arms against his chest.

"Here you go, again it's on the house so don't worry about paying" one of the waitresses said as she dropped off technos food and hot coffee. Techno nodded and thanked her with a soft smile.

Dream and techno have been working together at the same coffee shop for quite a while. Ever since they met during training, they've been competing with each other with random tasks.

Most of the time Techno would win, making customers and his friends at work like him quite a lot. Even the managers find his rather monotone voice rather funny at times. Dream has been trying his hardest to beat techno at anything he's bad at, which is rare to find.

"You know dream, this is the only time I'll let you have the win you had this morning" techno said as he took a sip of his coffee and his lip tugged lightly upwards at the feeling of hot liquid go down his empty stomach.

"Just you wait, I'll beat you at something you're bad at" dream said with determination. They talked about their growing YouTube channels up until techno finished his food then they got ready to work.

"That'll be $9.45 on the second window, thank you" techno said as he tapped on the side of his headset to mute his mic. He tapped on the flat tablet in front of him as he tapped the order he just took.

The customer pulled up to his window and he quickly took their money. He then went to get their drinks and handed them with a smile. "Thank you please come again-" Techno said mid closing his window until the customer stopped his window.
