We're In Hell

~~~Starlight's POV~~~

"Ah, it's good to be me. Being able to move around freely, being feared by everyone, the perfect life," I say as I wake up. I look around the room before hopping up. I look at the clock and see it's almost 2 in the afternoon.

"Oh dear! I can't believe I slept that long! I guess I really exhausted myself overusing my magic. I'll just not use it for a few days."

I walk out and down to the courtyard to see everyone still asleep. I walk over to the closest one and tap their shoulder. They slowly open their eyes and then look over and see me. It takes them a minute before jumping and screaming. I smile and laugh as I see everyone else jump awake and scream as well. 

Everyone looks at me and just stares. I slowly calm down before saying, "I have decided that since I have used my magic so much that I've slept in late, that I will not be doing anything for a few days until my magic replenishes. You can do whatever you like as long as it's after your chores. You'll have to make your own breakfast though."

Everyone just sits there looking at me like I'm crazy. I mean I am but still, doesn't mean they should just now realize it. I look at them with a scowl telling them to hurry and move. They scramble to get off the beds and make their way to the cafeteria. I sigh before looking at the sky.

'Will the kitty and friends come to play?'

~~~Master Fu's POV~~~

"I best make them breakfast before they wake. It's almost 2 and they're still asleep. Makes sense since they went through so much, ignoring my words. Now they can't get to them right now."

I start making their breakfast while whistling a small tune.

~~~Alya's POV~~~

"Alya! Alya! Come on, you need to get up!" a voice says while laughing.

I slowly open my eyes to see the sky. I turn towards the laughing and see Mari in a pair of shorts and a short sleeve. I sit up and notice we're in the park.

"Mari? What's happening? Why're we here at the park?" I question.

"I wanted to see you and I can only do that while you're asleep. The new heroes really need to be more careful. They've not let their bodies rest properly which they need to. I need to tell you something too."

"What did you want to show me?"

"Follow me and you'll see," she says while walking off. I rush after her so she doesn't fade from my sight.

"Mari, where are we going?"

"We're almost there." I nod and we walk in silence before she breaks it.

"She never hurt you, did she? Because if she did I wouldn't be able to live with myself. No one is going to want to come near me once this whole thing is finished! I'm going to have to move and change everything about me."

I stop walking, her stopping also, before looking at her. 

"No, Mari. She never touched me. No one's going to hate you for this. They know it's not you, you're being controlled, Mari. You won't have to move or change. You'll still have me, Nino, Adrien, and your family."

"Thank God," she sobs out. I pull her into a hug and we just cry together for a minute. She finally pulls back giving me a small smile, which I reciprocate.

"Let's continue. We're almost there." I nod and we walk with our arms linked.

~~~10 minute Time Skip~~~

"We're here." I stop and look ahead.

"It's beautiful. Where did you find this place?"

"I got lost walking by myself one day and stumbled upon it. I sat here for over an hour before I realized that it was getting dark. So I pulled out my phone and left. But whenever I need a break from my sewing or something I come here. It calms me and gives me inspiration for designs. Maybe when this whole thing is over we can come here together, hopefully."

I nod and smile. We talk about anything and everything before she sighs. We stand up and walk to where we were. It feels like we've only been with each other for a few minutes, but I know it's been hours.

"Y'know, I think this is the longest I've been with you during these. It's nice." 

"It is. I'm sorry that I left so quick all those times, but things would happen if I stayed too long. But right now, she's knocked out, so I could stay longer." 

We hug and cry one last time before saying goodbye.

"I'll see you next time!" we shout to each other.

I wake up with tears running down my face, but these are happier ones than past ones. I smile slightly and get up to head downstairs. I can vaguely feel my ribs hurt but not too much. When I get down there I see everyone else at the table. I say a little good morning before walking to Nino.

"Hey guys. Did you guys sleep good?" I ask.

"Sorta. I didn't have any dreams so it was pretty ok."

"Same here. It was strange, not having any after having them since this whole thing first began," Adrien says.

I nod and say, "I saw Mari in mine. We walked around and talked for a while. We talked about what's going on here, she's worried that Starlight has hurt us, but I told her she didn't. She thinks everyone's going to hate her after all this. She's thinking she's gonna have to move when she's back to normal. She's scared you guys."

"Well, I don't hate her! I don't blame her for any of this, it's not her fault. It's those transfers, Chloe's, no offence Adrien, "none taken." and Hawkmoth's. She shouldn't be ashamed she has feelings. We've all been akumatized before so everyone should be able to relate to how she must be feeling. And if they don't, well, they weren't true friends. We love Mari, we need to let her know that when we save her."

"Yea, we'll save her and protect her from those who are out to get her once this is finished. She's allowed to have feelings, she's human too. And if some people start saying that she should've had a better grip on her emotions, well they're just hypocrites because I know for a fact that those same people don't have a grip on their own emotions," Adrien says.

"You four must be very close friends if you're willing to defend her against everyone. I'm not saying you shouldn't, I'm just saying that your bond must be deep and true. You three are definitely brave enough to do this for her. I'm proud of you," Master Fu says. We gasp and feel tears well up in our eyes, slowly starting to leak.

"Don't cry children. You should be happy and proud to know that you all are true friends and heroes. Now come on, we have something to do." We nod and wipe our tears away and smile at each other, glad to have each other.

"Whatever happens, we'll face it together as a team. We will save Marinette, Hawkmoth will not take her away from us," we say with determined faces, "Get ready Starlight, because we're coming for you."

They don't see him, but Master Fu smiles at them, knowing he made the right choice.

~~~Master Fu's POV~~~

'Marinette, you have some great friends. You'll be saved, don't worry.'

I smile and walk off with them trailing behind.
