"He's alright" the doctor said, making both Oikawa and iwaizumi sigh in relief.
"It's just a food poisoning, nothing too serious. Maybe he ate something bad yesterday before sleeping, but it's nothing to worry about," the doctor explained, "just stay away from spicy food as much as possible and focus on vegetables and warm food instead"

Oikawa nodded and thanked him.

---------------------------

"hey tobio!!" shoyo waved excitedly where he sat, grabbing the raven hair's attention as he walked to the table shoyo, tadashi and kei were currently sitting on. he placed his milk carton on the table along with his bento then sat next to shoyo, opposing both alphas; kei and tadashi.

shoyo was in the middle of explaining his dad's volleyball match. tadashi was into it that his eyes were also shining whenever shoyo mentioned a 'super strong spike' that almost won every game. kei was eating his strawberry shortcake uninterested as tobio argued with shoyo.

"setters are better!"

"no! spikers! they're so cool and strong like daddy!"

"mommy's setting is way better than bokuto-san!" tobio glared, while shoyo shook his head furiously.

"spikers!"

"setters!"

"you're just jealous daddy won more games than oikawa-san!"

"no, I'm not!" tobio frowned, "if mommy played against bokuto-san, mommy would win!"

"no! daddy would" shoyo protested.

tadashi tried to stop the bickering while kei would roll his eyes every time one of them asks him who's right.

after they calmed down and were halfway through eating, tobio felt the need to go to the bathroom and stood up, excusing himself.

he did whatever business a 5 year old would do in the bathroom and went to the sink to wash his hands.

he then felt a sharp pain in his back as he was sent stumbling on the floor from the kick. he turned around and saw both kyoutani twins; kunimi and kindaichi.

he honestly never knew why they hated him. they barely even talk and somehow they would kick and shove him around all the time, and he was too weak to fight back. tobio so badly wished he wasn't born omega. to him and society, omegas are weak, small and feminine and extremely affected by alpha pheromones.

he hated it.

its so unfair.

he was treated differently. he feels as if people treat him like a girl rather than a boy.

both alphas kept hurting him physically and mentally. through it wasn't harsh words, it still affected the little boy as he took mostly everything to heart.

tears started pricking at the corner of his eyes as they yelled words at him, filling his mind with negative thoughts. he hugged himself tightly, hoping they would stop, but kindaichi grabbed him the collar and punched his cheek.

it wasn't a hard punch, it wouldn't leave a bruise but it still hurt as he cupped the cheek he got hit in.

he then heard the ginger head's voice approaching him and shoved kindaichi and kunimi out of the way forcefully, running over to tobio,

"are you okay?!" he asked in slight panic at the younger crying but he didnt have a chance to talk back before kindaichi spoke,

"what do you think you're doing?!" he yelled, referring to when shoyo shoved him.

"get away from him!" shoyo glared as they both had smug looks on their faces.

"and what are you gonna do? call your 'daddy'?" he mocked, and shoyo's face went red in anger. he decided not to get physical because his mom doesn't like shoyo getting in fights and shoyo definitely wouldn't want akaashi disappointed in him.

"lets go tobio," he helped him get up, but he was trembling and sobbing that we wouldn't budge moving.

the two alphas then rolled their eyes and left the bathroom, calling him a loser on their way out.

"they're gone, tobio, they're not going to hurt you okay?" he tried convincing the younger, hoping it would get to him so he could finally get tobio off the cold floor.

"lets get milk from the vending machine!!" he beamed, "daddy gave me extra yens for us to share!"

tobio nodded slowly, sniffling quietly as he wiped the tears off his face. he lit up at the mention of milk and got up, whispering a soft 'okay' while shoyo held his hand and led him to the vending machine excitedly.

after they got tobio's milk and shoyo's pocky sticks, they went back to the cafeteria and packed their lunches before the bell rang.

--------------------

it was time to go home now and tobio has never been happier. usually he'd like school because shoyo was there and his teachers were nice, but today just wasn't a good day.

iwaizumi was picking him up and saw akaashi coming their way too, assumingly to pick shoyo up. bokuto and oikawa were currently practicing for their next match and coming to school would grab the kids' attention- having people surrounding tobio and shoyo for their parents' fame and forcing to befriend them isn't a very pleasing. that's why they never talk about their parents being volleyball players unless its around kei and tadashi.

"how was school?" iwaizumi asked, pecking tobio's cheek and placed him in his arm.

"wasn't nice" he mumbled, burying his face in his father's neck as he frowned,

"what happened?" he asked, walking to the parked car.

"i don't wanna talk about it..."

"was it tsukkishima?" he asked and tobio shook his head,

"why would it be kei?" he pulled away

"dunno, im asking" iwaizumi opened the door and put him down as tobio hopped in his seat.

"no, it wasnt kei" tobio said and iwaizumi put the younger's seat belt on,

"was it hinata?" tobio shook his head again, "he bought milk!" he grinned as iwaizumi smiled.

"is mommy home?"

"no, he's practicing so he'll be back at dinner." tobio pouted, nodding his head while iwaizumi sat in the driver's seat.
