I ran toward Taylie and Raylie in relief. "Thanks for that rescue there!" I said, thanking them. "No prob." she replied, then added, "We should probably meet up with the rest of our classmates" she said. I nodded. Everything was perfect, I had friends to talk to, I wasn't in trouble, and most importantly, I looked back, A.C wasn't here! However, one thing felt missing.. I look around me, nothing was there. "Oof! We should probably hurry up, I can hardly see the other students!" exclaimed Taylie. I nodded, how fast can she get? We were already running at full speed! "I have an idea!" I exclaimed, maybe too loud, Raylie jumped in a terrified screech. "Ooh. Sorry" I apoligized. "Now back to my idea, let's race!" Taylie put on a shining smile as Raylie kept on shaking his head. "3! 2! 1! GOOO!!!" we yelled, our voice echoing in the hollow caves. I took a head start, Taylie seemed so confident in herself that she started 10 seconds after me! After she shot a competitve look at me, she stopped. "Magee!" I turned around. "Don't tell me you forgot your bag!" That did sound quite like me, but I was pretty sure I hadn't so I replied, "Nope!" I patted my bag, "See?" I froze. My hand hit my back. My backpack. It wasn't there. Oh stupid me! I knew I had forgotten something! "I'll just go back to the rootbus really fast and go get it!" I said. "B-but.." Raylie started to say. "What?" I asked impatiently. He jumped, and bent his head down, I guess he's a little sensitive. "But.. The directive said that the rootbus would take off a few minutes after we left.."he said shyly. "The directive? Oh! You mean A.C, right?" He nodded. "Well, the teacher also said that we shouldn't believe strangers untill you see it with your own eyes, right?" they nodded. "So, since you guys are new, isn't everyone a stranger to you?" They looked at eachother, puzzled, but then nodded. "So! That means that A.C is also a stranger to you two! So you don't have to believe him and we can just see if the rootbus is still there, and if it is, we can just get my bag and meet up witht the teacher!" They had a certain unsetalled look in their eyes, but I could tell, Taylie would do this just for fun anytime! But for Raylie, ehh not so sure.. The light shining from the crystals was reflecting against his glasses, making it harder for me to see the expression in his eyes but I'll just guess he agreees too. "Okay so, we all agree right?" stated Taylie. "Yup! Let's break the rules but also follow them!" We laughed. We started running toward where the rootbus was parked.
