"Move faster, Milan. Ang kupad mo."

Mabilis akong napalingon sa likod ko. My brother, Blue, is still pushing me from behind.

"Your stuffs are freaking heavy!" singhal ko. I am holding his two freaking heavy duffel bags, while he's with my five luggage and two backpacks na hindi naman ganun ka bigat katulad ng sa kanya. This brute!

"You two, hurry up!" She was helping to load our things inside the car, too.

Today's our flight going back to the Philippines.  After five freaking years! I miss my friends so much. The last time I visited Philippines was two years ago.

I spent my entire years here in Scotland aiming that MD to be in my name. Dito rin ako nag internship though gustong-gusto ko talaga sa Pinas with my friends. But mom, being the lenient one she is, always opposed my decisions. I'm 27 for God's sake!

The only thing I knew why we moved here in Scotland is because of family business. Ayaw talaga namin ni Blue na sumama, but we don't have choice. We always don't have a choice with mom.

"Violet!"

"H-huh?.. W-what?" nalilito kong tanong when mom suddenly called my attention on her usual high pitch voice. Well, she always screams. Ewan. Baka menopause raw sabi ni kuya.

"I am calling you several times," madiin niyang sambit at agad niya akong nilingon at pinandilatan ng mata.

"Sorry, mom," is the only thing I said. "Ano po ba yun?"

"Are you sure na sa Pilipinas ka mag re-residency?" taas kilay niyang tanong. I know she was against on my decision about pursuing my residency in the Philippines. As much as I knew, she loathed that country despite that she was born and raised there.

"Yes." Truth to be told, my ears are ready to hear her sermon, nevertheless, her scream and yelling.

She wanted us to become perfect.

I just received a scoffed from her instead of a sermon. Confused, why mom did not give me a sermon.

"What?" I mouthed when he's still staring on me.

He just shrugged and went back to his book. I don't know why he kept on reading books about law when he already intentionally failed his bar exam, twice.

"Thoir an aire ort fhèin," dad said to take care of ourselves when we arrived at the airport. Next week pa kasi sila ni mommy aalis at mauuna kami ni Blue.
