I feel the warm breeze run down my spine as I grab a box from the truck with my name on it. I just moved houses with my mom,dad,and younger sister Avery,but Averys,different. She is known as a boss baby or something like that,she says someone in this neighborhood is also a boss baby,but to be real here. I just want a normal summer. I walk to the new house I'm soon going to call home.It has worn baby blue paint and flowers in the front. I look over to the side of the house next door.I see something in there,wait no,not something,but someone. Someone looking at me with binoculars. I give a small smile and a wave,and I see them duck down. Chile anyway so- I walk into the house and run upstairs as fast as a can with the box in my hand,Mom said my room was at the end of the hall. And it was,it was the same size as my old one,and my window faced the backyard. "(Y/n)! Come down and meet our new neighbors!" Mom yelled. "Ok!" I set the box down and run downstairs. I run down the stairs and Avery gives me a look, it basically screams, Meet me in my room. There's a family,a boy with brown hair and bright blue eyes who looks my age and is kinda cute,His mother,father,and I'm guessing younger brother who's wearing a similar suit to Averys. "(Y/n),these are the templetons!" Mom says in her fake cheery voice. "Hi,I'm (y/n)" I smile at the family. Mrs. Templeton nudged The brown haired kid and he puts his hand out for a hand shake"I'm Tim." He says in a quiet voice. I shake his hand and look over to his brother. "This is Ted!" Mr.Templeton smiled. (A/n idk what his name is so I looked it up tell me if I'm wrong) I gave a small smile and hoped this conversation would end soon. I just want to unpack my stuff and maybe go on a bike ride. "Well,where do you live?" My Mom asks,putting on her fake smile for guests. Tim takes a step back when she says that, "Oh,we live next door,to the right." Mrs. Templeton said,pointing to the house next door. The house wear the person with binoculars was looking at me. Maybe he was just worried I would think he's weird,but I don't really care,yes it's weird,but sometimes talking to people is hard. Wait- does he know his little brother is a boss baby? "If your free you should come eat dinner at our house tonight!" Mr. Templeton smiled. Tim tangles his fingers together in discomfort "Oh,that would be great!" My dad smiled. And with that,they're gone. I pick Avery up and walk upstairs. "What." I ask once we get to her room. "I need you to talk to the kid. Tom or something." "Tim." I correct. "Whatever,I need to know if he knows." "Can't we just ask his younger boss baby brother?" "No questions. Just figured it out." She says,rubbing her temples. "Jeez ok."
