I don't know how to describe that face,his eyes said 'I just killed 43 puppy's' and that's not good. I shake the feeling of unease of and tell myself I'm just being dumb.

I take a breath and look out of the window,we're now in the city,and it's breathtaking. It's still light out, but something about the city always felt like a warm blanket on a cold night. Even though I don't see it often,it's still strangely comforting.

"So,are you excited to go to the convention?" Tim's mom asks. "Yeah." I smile,As i re-realize that Tim and I are holding hands.

I feel my face grow red as a strawberry and I look out of the window again trying to distract myself.

                          20 minutes later

"We're here!" Tim's dad says enthusiastically.

Tim and I stop holding hands and I grab Avery. I get out of the car and look at the convention. It's a big building,it looks the same as all of the ones next to it. But the one thing that stuck out was the big sign that says, 'dog convention here!" In big bubble letters.

We all walk in,and there's so many people I can't even count them all. I look at Tim and he gives me a cute reassuring smile and I feel a few butterflies in my stomach.

"Ok......well Me and you need to go to that meeting..." Tim's mom says to his Dad, "So Tim,(y/n),Avery,and Ted go into the room next to it." She says.

We walk around for a while and we go up an elevator. We go up 6 floors and once the doors open it has a pretty basic layout. Light blue walls,white tiles that are so clean that you can see the light above,and some people shuffling along.

After a few turns Tim's parents bring us into a large room. It has chairs around the edges of the room, some books,little block toys, one long window on one of the walls,and a little dress up box. The room seems weirdly clean for a kids room.

"Tim,(y/n),we'll be in the room next door. It may take a while." Tim's Dad says smiling, "Love you,see you soon." Tim's mom says,they walk to the room next door. "Love you, bye." Tim says.

"You say I love you too your parents?" A boy scoffs. He has blond hair and pale skin and a slight tooth gap,he's looking at his phone not looking up. He's kinda cute,but not my type,I prefer a certain brown haired blue eyed cutie who I know. *cough cough,Tim,cough cough*

"Y-yeah,what's w-wrong with t-t-that?" Tim stutters. "

Nothing,it's just that only baby's say that-"

"Shut up. No one asked you," I put my hand on Tim's shoulder. Setting Avery down and giving her a sign to go talk to Boss baby who's already sitting in one of the seats.

"Just because you don't think it's cool doesn't mean you can be rude to others. Say something like that again and that gap in your tooth might get a bit bigger." I say boldly. I-did I just say that?

He looks me up and down, "jeez,you're feisty." He says. I bit my tongue and look at him flatly.

"I think we got off on the wrong track." Tim smiles,how could he be so nice? That guy was just being an ass. "I'm Tim tempelton."He smiles.

"James Duncan,I go by Jd though." "Like the sociopath in heathers?" I ask. "Yeah,but I've never tried to blow up a school." He says,standing up to shake our hands.

Tim looks at me confused, I smile at him, "it's a musical reference." I look at Jd and he's wearing a red flannel,dark blue jeans,and a black belt. Kinda similar to how i would dress on a normal day. He shakes my hand.

"I'm (y/n) (l/n)." I smile,even if this guy was an ass,maybe he's not the worst. Tim puts his hand out to shake Jds,but Jd just sat back down.

That's weird... Tim and I sit next to Boss baby and Avery. "Ok,we need to get out of hear,so I propose-"

"y'all need to leave here?" Jd says, Tim looks at him slightly annoyed. "I can get y'all out." He says looking at his nails.

He grabs a sunflower hat that matches my outfit and a black hat from the dress up box.

"Take these,you'll need um." We both take them. "Ok,so here's the plan,(y/n),Kim," "it's Tim." He says. "Whatever Kim,so hears
the plan..." I roll my eyes,Jds definitely an ass.
