"Hello~ Nishinoya-can~"
"I'm fine Tendo"
~~~
I was standing in the ball room with the dance teacher. He was teaching me how to do a new, slightly more advanced dance for the upcoming ball. I hated this, I wasn't used to doing something so formal and I kept stuffing everything up. and to top it off I was in a super uncomfortable dress! the pianist began to play again, and we began to dance. I was doing alright until I tripped on my dresses skirt, falling onto the dance teacher. I blushed, extremely embarrassed by my terrible dancing.
I could see Semi-san try his hardest not to laugh at me as he stood bye the door as he always did these days. As I got off the teacher and went to sit down, Semi-san walked over to me with a smirk on his face. He and I became close almost instantly after I chose him 4 days ago. He was my safety here, other than Oikawa. I would talk to them a lot and they comforted me about some of my fears.
"So not getting much better are you." Semi-san chuckled and sat beside me. I pouted before chuckling.
"not really, I don't think ill ever get better." I sighed and Semi-san just stood up and held a handout to me.
"Come on. Your done for the day anyway." He said with a smile. I took his hand and stood up. I tripled a little but managed to stay up.
"Can we go to the kitchen. Tendo wanted to see me." I said with a smile, "I want to get out of this dress first though." Semi-san agreed and we headed up to Ushijima and mine's quarters. To my surprise Ushijima was inside with both Oikawa and Iwaizumi. I didn't like the way they all where told to call me Sir so I asked them to call me Nishinoya.
I'd asked Ushijima to call me Noya as he lets me call him Ushijima. Yeh, ok, it sounds like an odd thing but he always called me Nishinoya and I liked the shorter name Noya , a nickname fist given to me by Yachi. But he refuses to use it. both in private and public.
"Ushijima! I didn't expect you to be here." I said with a small smile. I walked over to the wardrobe and opened the door looking for the only dress I liked. The reason I liked it? it was light blue; the fabric was light and thin.
"Hello Nishinoya." He said and looked at me with his normal, monotoned face. "How was dance class?" he looked back to whatever it was he was doing at the table. I sighed and grabbed the dress before looking at Oikawa and nodding. He walked over to me taking the dress and helping me out of the ballgown type dress I was in.
"Ushijima, I don't think I should dance at balls. I'm awful and just cant get the dances right." I said before walking behind the Byōbu (A Japanese folding screen) with Oikawa to change. He has to help because this dress is IMPOSSIPLE to take off by myself. "I always fall on my dress and even my own feet."
"Hmm..." I heard Ushijima make a sound before talking, "im sure you will be able to get a hand on it soon." I sighed and walked out in my new dress. I saw Iwaizumi and Ushijima whispering to each other. Iwaizumi nodded before sitting beside him. Oikawa walked back over to Ushijima again. I looked at Ushijima properly.
"Ushijima? Why are you so dressed up today?" I asked taking note that he was in a much more formal suit than normal. Similar to the one he wore the day he chose me to be his bride.
"I have a big meeting with my father later tonight. I will not be back till much later, nor will I be having dinner with you. I am sorry about that Nishinoya" he said, a slightly sad tone leaking through his monotone one.
"don't be sorry. I'll be fine. I think that's why Tendo wanted to see me." I said as I walked to him now.
"Is that where you're going now?" he asked looking over at me. I nodded.
"Yes I'm going to go there now. I will see you later." I bowed and left the room walking down the hall with Semi-san at my side. We walked down the hall and he asked me what id like to do later. As always, I never really knew as there wasn't much to do. He asked me if id like to go to the sitting room and read. I just shrugged and asked him to wait outside while I went into the kitchen.
"Hello Tendo. What did you want to talk about?" I waked up to Tendo, who was singing as he faced his stove. Flicking his wrist to toss the vegetables in his pan. He turned around and gave me a wide smile. He placed the pan down, turned a nob and walked over to me.
"Hello~ Nishinoya-can. How are you?" he asked avoiding my question.
"I'm fine Tendo. How are you?" I asked to be polite.
"oh I'm doing well~" he said with a smirk and walked to my side. Wrapping an arm over my shoulder, "how is Ushijima treating you?" he was always like this. Touchy, personal, close. It made me uncomfortable. But I never stopped him. it just seemed like a pert of who Tendo was and his personality.
"H-he is treating me fine. Nothing different from when I came here a week and a half ago." I said with a sigh. Tendo smirked at me and I felt a shiver run cold through my blood. I tried to bring it back onto topic, "so what did you want to talk about?"
"I wanted to ask you about your dinner tonight. You will be the only one not eating in the meeting, so I wanted to make you something unique. What would you like?" as he spoke his hand moved down from my shoulder to my waist. My blood ran cold. His touch was so uncomfortable.
"I'll have whatever the meeting is having. I don't mind to much and don't want to make extra work for you." I said, voice small as I tried moving myself away from Tendo. He tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer.
"Come on let me make you something..." he moved in closer to my face, a shiver ran through me, colder than ever before. "Unique."
"I guess... tonkotsu ramen?" I said uncertain trying to get out of there as fast as I could. He agreed and finally let me go. I bowed quickly and left the room, Semi-san seemed concerned by my wanting to leave quickly. As we walked back he informed me of something...
"I am required at the meeting tonight. You will be left alone in your quarters."
