Malibu. Home of private white beaches, fancy stores and restaurants, and Hollywood celebs.

This all, however, begins at the Lovely mansion.

Inside, Tara is in her large, pink and silver themed expensive room. Rushing back and forth between her large walk-in-closet and her big, bright silver vanity that's perpendicular to her light pink, king size bed.

She's picking out what to wear for the first day of junior year.

She looks at her digital clock on her silver bedside table and sees that she only has 20 minutes left to leave. Still in her white, fluffy bathrobe, she huffs an exaggerated sigh and goes back into her closet to get dressed.

She settles on a hot pink top with medium blue Vera Wang jeans, black sandals and a medium sized, black Prada backpack. She puts in her diamond studded earrings and a dainty diamond necklace as she looks in the mirror. She already had her makeup on and had her medium length, black curls defined prior to getting dressed.

Her makeup is pretty and pink based, with light pink eyeshadow, a small cat eye wing, mascara, rosey cheeks, and a pink gloss. Her foundation looks airbrushed, almost as if nothing is even on her face.

Being the adopted daughter of Victoria Lovely; top A-list actress, she definitely learned a lot of beauty and makeup techniques.

She makes her way down the foyer where she greets her family with a "good morning", and a sweet smile in the large, white and marble kitchen.

Her mother smiles at her and says, "good morning sweetie," as she pours the orange juice for everyone. On the first day of school, Victoria likes to cook breakfast instead of the usual chef.

Ashley is already at the table, eating and is dressed almost as a mini Tara, with a pink top and blue jeans. Tara lightly laughs and ruffles Ashley's golden hair.

"Hey!" Ashley whines as she tries to fix her hair. "Cool outfit, I like it!" She tells Tara in admiration.

"Thanks, I can tell," Tara replies, as she takes a sip of juice and bites on her turkey bacon.

Ashley had gotten her entire closet remodeled to try and imitate Tara's. She may like to annoy her older sister sometimes, but she is her biggest fan deep down.

Max slowly walks into the kitchen wearing a basic Calvin Klein white tee, jean jacket, black jeans, and white tennis shoes. His backpack is slung over one shoulder, with a soccer ball held between his left arm and side. He opens the fridge and pulls out an apple,  then sluggishly sits down at the marble counter, to the left of Tara.

"Well good morning to you too," Victoria says sarcastically as she takes a sip of her green tea.

"He's just annoyed that he's going to have to see Claira again after their messy breakup this summer," Ashley said cheekily.

"Oh be quiet Ashley," Max said looking over to her, who was sitting on Tara's right. "Besides, I'm over her. I just don't want to see her all over that snake of a friend Asher.. cheating is one thing but with my best friend is a whole nother level," he said, annoyed.

Tara slightly blushes at the mention of Asher's name. She always had a slight crush on him, since he and her brother had been friends, starting back in middle school, when they both made the soccer team. Whenever he would come over to hang out with Max, she'd turn shy, hardly able to get a word out. But she convinced herself that she couldn't possibly like him. They were too different, with Tara being a sweet, obedient girl, and Asher being a carefree rebel and all.

It also didn't help with her living only two houses down, so seeing him was almost inevitable. Plus, word is that he broke the trust of her brother, so he DEFINITELY was off limits.. right?

"Good morning!" Josh sings as he hurriedly walks into the kitchen, smiling at his kids, and kissing his wife on the cheek, while fixing his black tie.

"Morning" they all greet back simultaneously, although a bit sleepily.

"Well you two better get going, unless you wanna be late," Josh says as he looks back and forth between Max and Tara. They both pick up their bags and begin to walk out of the kitchen.

"Good luck at practice buddy!" Josh yells at Max who already was walking out of the kitchen.

"Bye dad," Tara says as she hugs him.

"Bye sweetie," he hugs back, his cup of black coffee in his other hand.

"Well Ash, let's get going. I can drop you off to school on my way to the studio," he says, as he grabs the black Mercedes keys.

"Kk," Ashley says as she leaps off the seat before taking another sip of juice and grabbing her pink lunchbox and backpack off the counter. She hugs her mom and walks out of the kitchen.

"Seriously, another script reading?" Victoria complains. "You've been working nonstop for months!" She says, as she sits her cup down.

"Look, honey, I know, but the studio is really pushing for me to get this movie done," Josh says before he kisses Victoria one last time.

She looks up at him and says "okay," hesitantly. "But you are picking up the dry cleaning after! I gave Petunia the day off."

"Got it," Josh says with a wink, before walking out of the kitchen, and into the luxury garage to drop off Ashley.

Max and Tara are walking out of the large front double doors. They both walk over to Max's blue Hummer when they hear a car honking.

"Hey, I'm gonna ride with Nebbie today," Tara says to Max.

"Suit yourself," he replies, as he looks over at Nebraska's sleek, silver Audi convertible, and then back to Tara, as he gets in his ride and slowly backs out.

Tara walks over to Nebraska's car. "Wow, nice birthday gift," she says as she gets in.

"I know right!" Nebbie says squealing. Her long, waist length, dark chocolate loose curls bouncing as she moved about. The bright sun reflecting on her medium tanned skin. "I mean it's not like I was dropping hints on what kind of car I wanted, because I honestly would like whatever they picked out, but this is definitely what I was imagining!"

Tara giggles and notices a figure in the mirror on her side.

It was Asher Montgomery getting into his black g-wagon.

"Oh no," Nebbie complained, spotting what Tara was staring at.

 "What?" Tara questions innocently.

"Don't tell me you're still crushing on Montgomery," she said.

"I'm not!" Tara replies, a little too fast.

"Well good. He's just trouble, you know that. And besides, didn't he like take your brother's girlfriend this summer or something?" Nebbie added.

"I try not to get wrapped up into his drama," Tara says, rolling her eyes. "Besides, Claira is a major bitch anyway. The less I see her in my house, the better." She finished, as she put on her pink sunglasses.

Nebbie giggles and drives off.
