Dream tapped at his phone. Ink's contact was pulled up. He could call him right now, tell him the good news, that he had a boyfriend now, but...it was Error. And he wasn't sure how exactly Ink would take that.
Well, actually, he knew exactly how Ink would take it. He'd end the "experiment", drag Dream back to the base, and yell at him for developing those kinds of feelings for Error.
"@r€ ¥0u @/r!&ht? ¥0u'r€ <r¥!n&..." Error placed a hand on his shoulder, looking over at the phone.
"Ink's gonna hate this."
"N0t r€@//¥. H€'// $@¥ th@t h€ d0€$, but h€'$ $0u//€$$. H€ d0€$n't r€@//¥ <@r€ @b0ut @n¥th!n&."
"I know...doesn't mean he'll just accept it and turn a blind eye..."
"!kn0₩. ₩€ d0n't h@v€ t0 t€// h!m..."
"He'll figure it out at some point."
"₩€ $t!// h@v€ th€ r€$t 0f th€ ¥€@r."
Dream smiled. "Yeah. We can enjoy that." He shut his phone off, turning to hug his new partner. Error hugged back.
"¥0u'r€ @d0r@b/€, m¥ /!tt/€ $h!n!n& $t@r."
Dream giggled at the new nickname, trying to think of one back. Glitchy? No, that seemed a bit detrimental...
"Love you too, cookie."
Error snorted. "<00k!€¿"
"Yep. You're cookie. Get used to it."
"<@n ! @$k ₩h¥¿"
"Hmm...nope. You just are."
"@/r!&ht, ju$t d0n't €@t m€."
"I won't."
They talked for a while, Error eventually going off into a long rant about how Outertale was the best AU. Dream didn't stop him. He just sat, watching and listening as his boyfriend prattled on and on about how beautiful and unique the AU was, how most other colorful AU's by Ink were bright and obnoxious, but how this one was peaceful and calm and...
Dream hadn't realized he was asleep until he woke up. Error was asleep next to him, sprawled out on the couch it one of the strangest positions he'd ever seen. He giggled and snapped a picture of him, setting it as his background.
"Hey Ink!"
"Yeah? Need something?"
"Just came downstairs, look at this." Dream sent a photo.
"Holy hell, is he asleep?"
"Yep."
"He looks like such a dumbass!"
"I think it's kind of cute."
"Cute?"
"Yep."
"Huh. You're seeing something I'm not."
"Guess so."
Dream turned off the phone, cuddling up to Error again and falling asleep.Picture is not mine
