Yibo was stunned. He hurried back and checked and he easily found out that what Hai Kuan said was true.

Why? Why did he jump to conclusions, even after knowing how Xiao Zhan is? Yibo wanted to run to Xiao Zhan but at the same time, felt that he could not face Xiao Zhan.

He knew he made Xiao Zhan cry every night. He knew he hurt Xiao Zhan and he did it on purpose, to get his small revenge, even though he never wanted Xiao Zhan to leave his side.

Yibo sat on the couch, dejected. What should he do? How could he be so foolish to not trust Xiao Zhan?

Yibo's phone rang and he took a look, jumping up when he saw Xiao Zhan's name on the screen. He immediately answered it.

"Feed Nut. That's all I'll say. Pack Zhan's things up. I will collect them" Zhuo Cheng was the one who spoke. Yibo wanted to protest but Zhuo Cheng already hung up.

Yibo found Nut laying in Xiao Zhan's room and placed snacks in his hands but Nut refused to eat. "Even you hate me for hurting Xiao Zhan?" Yibo sighed.

He filled Nut's bowl with food and left. Yibo went into the hospital sneakily and managed to slip in when Zhuo Cheng and Xuan Lu left the hospital room.

Yibo immediately locked the door and went to Xiao Zhan. Seeing Xiao Zhan sleeping, Yibo quietly sat beside him and held his hand.

Xiao Zhan looked much more skinnier, much paler with dark circles on his swollen eyes. Yibo felt regrets as he tightened his hold on Xiao Zhan's hands.

"I'm sorry, Zhan. I'm sorry I assumed you betrayed me for money. I'm sorry I did not trust you. I should have at least asked you to explain yourself...

Most of all, I'm sorry for hurting you as a form of revenge to comfort myself" Yibo whispered as he held Xiao Zhan's hand tightly.

"I love you, Zhan. Please don't leave me, I'm sorry for being so foolish. I can't live without you by my side, caring for me, loving me" Yibo said, a few drops of tears rolling down his eyes.

Yibo flinched when he heard someone banging the hospital door. Yibo hurriedly hid behind the curtains and the door banged open.

"Bastard! Who locked the door?!" Zhuo Cheng shouted and the first thing he did was to check the toilet. After that, he scanned the room and frowned.

A nurse hurried to his side and Zhuo Cheng was upset "How can your door locks be so bad?! What if something happens but no one can enter because the door locked by itself?!"

"S-Sorry, I will immediately check with the maintenance department and get a locksmith" The nurse apologised.

Zhuo Cheng nodded and excused her. He took a step forward and thought he saw a shadow near the curtains.

Zhuo Cheng took another step forward but halted when his phone rang. "Brother?" Xiao Zhan woke up and rubbed his eyes.

Zhuo Cheng frowned "Is there something behind the curtain?" Xiao Zhan glanced at the curtain and pulled it around. "There's nothing, what's wrong?"

Zhuo Cheng shook his head. Maybe he saw wrong. "I need to step out for a while. Sleep more and make sure you don't step out of the hospital or let even an ant in"

"I've slept for so long already" Xiao Zhan pouted and whined but Zhuo Cheng gave him a light smack on the head "Sleep more"

Xiao Zhan pouted as he watched Zhuo Cheng leave. Yibo who was lying on the floor to hide himself was about to get up when Xiao Zhan's phone rang.

"Hello? Zhan?" A male's voice sounded as Xiao Zhan placed it on speaker. "Chu Yue..." Xiao Zhan whined with a small sob as he curled on the bed, facing the phone in front of his face.

"Zhan, why are you crying again? I told you not to cry the next time I call" Chu Yue sighed and shook his head.

Yibo who sneaked up frowned seeing the two doing a face call. A call is a call, why must they face call?

"Chu Yue... Yibo doesn't want me anymore" Xiao Zhan sniffed as he choked out his words "Yibo only comes home in the morning, with perfume and lipstick on his clothes.

He never touches my food anymore. Chu Yue, he must have realised he is straight or he must have been playing around with me, right?" Xiao Zhan cried.

"It's painful, I'm tired of him leaving me alone the whole time, ignoring me, coming back only in the morning... It hurts to think of how he spent the night outside..."

Xiao Zhan cried harder and Yibo clenched his fist. Chu Yue who wanted to comfort Xiao Zhan was shocked as he saw a man suddenly appearing behind Xiao Zhan and hanging up the face call.
