Fairy Tail: Space Between Lives

Chapter 3

Time skip to a few weeks after chapter 2. It's a Sunday and the shop shuts at 6pm, its now 5pm

Stewart's P.O.V  

I've only got an hour left of my shift, I can't be arsed with this place. Oh well at least I'm closing the shop with decent people, my friends Ricky and Emma. Also Lauren and Melissa whom I get along with, The 3 girls are out on the shop floor talking and Ricky and I are speaking in the stockroom. The shop is dead, I mean no wonder, it's a Sunday.

All of a sudden, I smell something familiar. I hear the automatic doors open to the store and hear footsteps, It sounds like 5 people just walked in. Oh well, just means that Ricky or me are about to get a pick for the customers item. 

Ricky: Hey Stew you alright pal?

Stew: Yeah I'm fine mate, just can't wait to finish. 

Ricky: Same here, just want to go home. You got any plans when you finish?

Stew: No not really. I'll probably just head home, have something to eat and play my playstation. What about you, you doing anything?

Ricky: I'm supposed to have some family round for dinner, so that and then probably play some sonic.

Stew: Sounds fun. By the way, we got anything else to do before closing up?

Ricky: well we've finished the delivery and done the excess stock, so really we just need to tidy the back and then put the bars on the fire exits upstairs. It's up to yourself which 1 you do, I'll do the other

Stew: Ok well I'm not fussed which 1 really, both of them won't take long anyway.

No ones P.O.V 

Lets go and see what's happening out front. Emma, Lauren and Melissa were talking until the 5 people came into the store. Emma approached them

Emma: Hi there guys. Do you need any help with anything?

??? 1: Yes, we aren't here to shop. We are actually here looking for someone who works here. 

Emma: Oh ok, well who is it you guys are looking for and I'll be able to tell you if they're working?

??? 2: Thanks, We are looking for Stewart Murdoch. He should be working right now

Emma: Oh yeah he's here, hang on a second and I'll go get him for you

??? 3: Thanks, appreciate it

Now back to thee stockroom with Ricky and Stewart.

Stewart's P.O.V

Stew: Ok mate, I'll go put the bars on the doors upstairs

Emma: Stewart! Can you come to front please? 

Stew: What for?

Emma: Some people came in looking for you, don't know who they are but they came here to see you. 

Stew: That's weird I wonder who they are, well better go see them

I walk round the corner to the front of the shop and find 5 familiar faces. Why the hell are they here and how did they get here? They were standing next to 1 of the tables that has the tablets on it in the far corner. 

Lucy: Hey guys, he's here.

The team turns towards me and they're about to walk up to the checkout where I'm standing. However I knew they had come to speak about something regarding the magic world. I couldn't let the others hear us so I start walking towards them. 

Especially Emma, she knows that Fairy Tail is a manga/anime but she nor anyone in the real world (other than me of course) know that FT truly exist. I'm just glad that none of them are in their usual outfits, otherwise Emma would recognise them almost instantly.

Erza and Wendy are wearing hoodies and joggers. Lucy is wearing jeans and a denim jacket. Natsu is wearing shorts and a t-shirt, thankfully Gray is actually wearing some clothes for a change. He's wearing jeans and a t-shirt. 

Stew: Not gonna lie, I'm surprised to see you guys here. So I heard you guys are here to see me, don't know why else you would be here.

Natsu: We got something for you, well for us but you're welcome to join us. If you know what I mean.

Stew: Seriously? You could have waited for me to come round to tell me this. 

Gray: What flame brain is trying to say is that this is something that cannot wait. Plus who the hell knows when you would be coming back 

Stew: True

Erza: How long are you here for? We should discuss this when no one can hear

Stew: Hang on. Hey guys, how long until we close?

Melissa: We close in half an hour

Stew: Cheers. Right Scarlet, if you and the others wait outside and I'll come and speak you when we lock up 

Erza: Yeah sure we'll wait for you outside. Let's go guys

The team leave the shop. I still need to ask them how they got here, most likely Smoke let them through the gate

Lauren: Hey Stewart, who were they?

Stew: Some friends of mine, that's all 

Lauren: Ok, I was just wondering

Emma: I feel like I've seen them before from somewhere but I can't think where

Stew: No need to think about it too much Emma. I doubt you've seen them before

Thankfully the half hour past quickly and we've just finished closing the store, we say our goodbyes and the others go home. Meanwhile I light a cigarette and walk over to the others. 

Sigma: So let me guess, Smoke let you guys through the gate to get to the real world so you can try and get me to join a you on job?

Wendy: Well hello to you too big brother. You got it spot on, except...

Lucy: You kind of need to come on this mission with us Sigma because the person that put out this job has requested you as well as our team

Erza: You have to join this job Sigma

Sigma: Why? You know I can't always drop stuff here to do jobs in Fiore

Wendy: Brother this job comes from the princess of Fiore 

Sigma: Oh shit really? Ok well when is the job?

Gray: Tomorrow and if I'm correct, you ain't working so you should be able to join

Sigma: Yeah ok. I'll see you guys tomorrow

The team heads back to Fiore and Sigma goes back home
