Sigma's P.O.V
Everything is in place, just waiting for Lucy and Wendy to bring Hisui down from the palace to the carriage waiting outside.
Sigma: Hey Natsu, you gonna be alright riding the horse? Don't want you getting motion sickness half way through this job
Natsu: I won't get motion sickness you idiot! This horse isn't a vehicle
Sigma: Calm down pyro, I was just checking
Before Natsu could react to me calling him pyro, Lucy, Wendy and Hisui showed up at the front gate where the carriage was waiting.
Hisui: Sorry we took so long everyone, I just had to listen to Father talk about some of the details about the meeting. Also him giving me the whole lecture about being careful and staying close to you guys.
Erza: No problem, everything is ready your highness
Hisui: Erza, please just call me Hisui. You and everyone don't need to be so formal while we are on the road
Erza: My apologies your high.. I mean Hisui
Hisui giggles at Erza's mistake as Erza ducks her head in an attempt to hide the fact that she's blushing in embarrassment. I haven't heard Hisui giggle like that in quite some time, not to mention Erza blushing as well. It's cute but never mind that now, we need to get moving. Lucy, Wendy and the cats accompany Hisui inside the carriage. Gray sits in front while Smoke goes on top of the carriage. Natsu, Erza and myself get on 3 horses, Natsu behind the carriage and Erza and me are at each side of it.
Sigma: Alright everyone, let's move out
All: AYE SIR!
(Time skip to a few hours into the journey)
No-ones P.O.V
Sigma: Hey Smoke, if you need a break, just switch with Happy or Carla
Smoke: Cheers Sigma but I should be fine, the breeze is nice up here
Sigma: Don't be enjoying it too much buddy, you need to keep an eye out in case some idiots try to attack us
Smoke: If we get attacked pal, it's most likely gonna be during the day
Erza: I agree with him Sigma, it would make more sense for them to attack in daylight
Sigma: Yeah that's true but we can't let our guard down, if we're gonna be attacked; they could also do it during the night when our light source is limited.
Hisui, Lucy and Wendy are chatting in the carriage. Happy and Carla are taking a nap
Hisui: Wendy, forgive me for being so direct but your big brother worries too much.
Wendy: You don't need to ask for forgiveness Hisui, I'm fully aware that he worries too much hehe. But I guess that's the way he's always been, it's comforting in a way you know. Like he doesn't want any harm to come to his family or friends.
Lucy: Yeah, I agree but sometimes it looks like he doesn't have much fun or talks to our team.
Hisui: Oh by the way Lucy I forgot to ask you. How are your spirits doing? I hope everyone is doing well
Lucy: Everyone is fine, well I say fine but pretty much normal. Loke is still trying to hit on girls, Virgo still wants punishment, Torus is still being a perv and Aquarius still wants to kill me every time I summon her. So all and all not much has changed
Hisui and Wendy nervously laugh to each other. Lucy sighs and then decides to check on Gray. She reaches behind her and pulls the curtain to speak to him
Lucy: Hey Gray you doing ok?
Gray: Huh yeah yeah, I'm doing fine. Just trying not to doze off, I'm just bored that's all
Lucy: Don't worry, only 6 hours left to go
Gray: Oh great.
Happy starts to wake up because of the light coming from the sun rising
Happy: How long have I been asleep for?
Wendy: Not too long Happy, the sun is starting to rise and Lucy said we've got about 6 hours left until we reach Malba City
Happy: Did I miss anything exciting?
Hisui: No not really, we've just been chatting about random topics
Sigma is thinking about stuff until Smoke speaks to him telepathically
Smoke: Boss, I was wondering if you noticed it yet
Sigma: Yeah I noticed about an hour or 2 after we left the palace
Smoke: Should we tell the others or should I take them out silently?
Sigma: No, I don't want Hisui to panic and Natsu, Erza and Gray will notice if you suddenly leave. Plus I don't want our followers to know they've been spotted.
Smoke: From what I can tell, around 5 to 10 enemies right now but why don't they attack
Sigma: I have a feeling more will be coming, they should know that amount isn't enough. I'm not sure if they will attack before more show up or if we're walking into a trap
Smoke: I'll keep an eye out for now
A half hour goes by and the team are walking on a rocky but straight path with a high cliff to the left side of the carriage
Smoke: Gray, stop the carriage. Something isn't right, I can hear yelling and smell monkeys for some reason
The carriage stops moving and on top of the cliff, a massive group of enemies start running down the cliff and straight for the carriage. All of a sudden enemies start running at the carriage from the back, front and the right side
Erza: It's an ambush!
Natsu: Finally I can kick some ass
Gray: I know what you mean Natsu, I was getting so bored
Sigma: Wendy I need you and the cats to protect the princess.
Wendy: You've got it brother
Sigma: Lucy, I want you on top of the carriage in your Sagittarius star dress shooting any enemies that are keeping their distance
Lucy: Leave it to me
Sigma: Gray, Natsu, Erza. Us 4 will take care of the enemies coming at each side. Smoke, I need you to keep an eye on the enemies movements. I want to know who they're after
Smoke: Understood
Sigma: Everyone ready?
All: I'm all fired up
