"You're mad!"
"No. I'm a visionary. Soon you'll see! Soon everyone will see!"

Things seemed to only get worse each chapter. Percy didn't need to break the fourth wall to know that.
He sat in his bed, face in his hands as he tried to figure everything out. What did he know? Not enough? What did he not know? Too much.
Okay, just list the things you know. That's how you figure it out.
There was nine demigods, most of them year rounders at camp (and one of them a hunter of Artemis). Three of them had been affected by what they assumed to be a disease. And there was a Nico usually attached to him.
Things were going just great.
"Hey, Percy?" Conner stood in his doorway, a look of what could only be described as pure terror on his face. He pointed behind him, "you might want to come see this,"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT CEREAL!" Katie was screaming and throwing things around desperately, plants starting to grow around her.
The other demigods were running for safety, except for the three previous infected. Percy turned to his friend, the only person he knew that understood what was going on. "When did that start and why?"
"Thalia jokingly offered Katie to join the hunt. Said something about plenty of cereal." Conner turned back to Katie. "As you can see, she didn't like that,"
"What's her fatal flaw?" Percy asked.
"She trusts people." Conner and Percy ducked under a flying chair. "Apparently, she doesn't anymore,"
"Oh this is bad,"
"You think?"
"Quick, how can we deal with her? We might not be able to turn her back, but we can manage something. Who will be too careful that he or she won't say anything that could mildly be offensive?"
Both boys looked at each other at the same time, their minds linking as they said a name in perfect unison. "Travis,"
That might be the one good thing that's come from all of this. Travis would be able to calm down Katie, just like he had when neither of them were infected.
Thank the gods for that.
Percy and Conner raced into the room where Travis was waiting, scared for his life. Together, they literally pushed him it the door and hid behind a couch.
"Do you think it'll work?" Conner asked.
"Honestly? I have no clue," Percy whispered back. "How's everyone else?"
"If we're lucky, alive," Conner muttered. "But I think they managed to hide before we did. I woke up to her like this, was filled in by Travis, and then had to run out the door before the She-Monster over there found me,"
There was a roar.
"I'd be careful what you say around her. Annabeth goes through this as well, once a month. She gets really moody, so maybe this is just Katie's way. I think she called it a class, or a period, or something,"
"Not the time, bro,"
A door swung open in front of them, and they could see Grover and Annabeth rushing them in. Thankfully, Nico wasn't a worry and neither was Will. Both were taken when asleep and were now tangled together.
At least the spell did nothing during sleep.
Percy and Conner scrambled forward, getting in the room and locking the door. Percy lent on the door, his eyes wide as he locked them with Annabeth.
"We need to figure out what's going on,"
