"It's too early." Aspen groans as she leans her head on the window.
Everyone was still at the lake house but Aspen and Cameron. They'd been staying there for about a week now. They had scheduled a doctors appointment while everyone was busy and they planned on telling everyone that night.
"We had to leave early to make it back before lunch." Cameron tells his girlfriend intertwining their fingers.
"I know." She says yawning. "I can't believe we're actually going to be parents." She says with a smile.
"I know baby." he says bringing her hand up and kissing it.

"Alright Ms. Higgins." the doctor said walking into the room. "You are in fact 12 weeks pregnant. He or She is about the size of a passionfruit and you should be able to see your baby bump soon. You should also start shopping for maternity wear." both of them nod.
"Yeah I needed Cameron to button my shorts yesterday." Aspen pouted making the doctor laugh.
"So usually by the ninth week you would've been able to hear your baby's heartbeat." The doctor said.
"This is the first doctors appointment since we found out she was pregnant about a week ago." Cameron spoke.
"Well, then I'm gonna get a nurse in here with the equipment and we'll hear your baby's heartbeat." She said while leaving.
"This is really real." Cameron breathed out looking at his girlfriend with a smile. "We're really going to be parents."
"i know." he leaned over and kissed her.
The nurse came back in and set up the ultra sound. She applied the gel on Aspen's stomach and she shivered making Cameron laugh.
They waited about a minute before they heard a small beating coming from the machine. What surprised them was when their wasn't just one. Tears came to both the soon to be parents eyes.
"Well would you look at that." The nurse pointed at the screen. "It seems that you're having twins."
Aspen and Cameron looked at each other with wide tearful eyes.

The two 20 year olds walked out of the office wiping their tears. They couldn't believe that they were going to have two babies.
Cameron had promised himself that when that little noise of his childs heart beat flowed through the room that he wouldn't cry, but seeing his girlfriend, who he loved more than anything, start to cry he couldn't help but cry a little.
They both got in the car and Cameron turned to Aspen who was leaning her head back and taking deep breaths.
"Baby."
"Twins. We're having twins." She said before he could say anything. "I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing."
"Baby, this is a good thing. I know your scared, I am too." He tells her and she looked at her. "Two kids is a lot more than we expected but, we can start a life together and have a family. We have so many people to help us and support us. If there is anyone who can do this, it's us." She looks at him with tearful eyes.
