Jimin was nervous as he was standing in front of the building where his long awaited audition would take place.
He had been practicing his scene for days, but was still nervous.
Maybe because this was the first time he wanted a role so bad.
It could be such a great chance for him! The director seemed very good from his earlier work and he was very nice and handsome as well.
Jimin could still remember mr. Jeon's words over the phone and it made him a flustered giggly mess every time he thought about it.
After watching mr. Jeon's movies and their phone call, Jimin no longer had doubts about him.
He also found it very cool, a director went to scout potential actors this way.
Jimin took a deep breath, cleared his mind and made his way inside the building.
He was directed to the second floor of the building and was asked to wait in the hall for a few minutes.
Jimin looked around with a frown. Why was no one else here? The whole hall was empty. He was the only person here.
"Mr. Park? Mr. Jeon is ready to see you now."
Jimin nodded and followed the woman into an office.
"Mr. Park, I'm glad you made it. Take a seat." Mr. Jeon spoke.
Jimin looked around the room. Mr. Jeon was sitting behind his desk. On the other side of the desk stood a chair for Jimin.
The office was really spacious and seemed like it wasn't used very often. It was a little dusty.
Jimin quickly sat down on the chair mr. Jeon had pointed out.
Mr. Jeon dismissed the woman that brought Jimin here and they were left alone.
"Well mr. Park you must be curious to why we're here instead of a theatre." Mr. Jeon looked at him.
"Uhh yeah, kinda." Jimin scratched his neck with a sheepish smile.
"Well the reason is simple. I'm not like other directors. I strive to stand out, to be different. Adding to that, I feel like you see much more of an actor in a small and comfortable space like this then on a big stage. Much more intimate don't you think?"
"Ah yes, of course! It's an interesting method! I've never auditioned like this." Jimin says, impressed with mr. Jeon's methods.
"Well then let's start your audition mr. Park. Impress me." Mr. Jeon said and leaned back in his seat.
"Uhm yeah sure!" Jimin quickly gathered himself and got into his character.
"It's a scene from Ocean's Eleven." He explained and mr. Jeon nodded.
Jimin took a deep breath and started his scene. He tried to block out mr. Jeon's piercing eyes and focus on his scene.
But during his scene he couldn't help but feel like mr. Jeon was paying more attention to him than to the scene he was acting out. Almost as if it didn't matter.
Maybe it was one of his peculiar techniques?
Jimin finished his scene and looked at Jungkook expectantly.
"That was great mr. Park. Please take a seat again." Jimin smiled and quickly sat down in front of mr. Jeon again.
He fiddled with his fingers, waiting anxiously for mr. Jeon's feedback.
"Okay so you were the last to audition. There are 5 others who auditioned like this." Jimin nodded his head.
So he was up against 5 others. Had his audition been good enough?
