Silence filled the cold dim lit room as I took in the surroundings, "You know Racheal, you should really warm this place up, add a touch of yourself to it," I grinned and swept my hands around the bare room.
All I got was a glare from the woman sitting down, her hands chained together on the table she sat at, and her legs chained to the chair she sat in. Her face was dirty and her hair unkept and she stunk of a sour odor, but the eyes of the woman in front of me, stared at me coldly.
"What? No hello or good-after-noon my gracious queen?' I asked the woman, pulling the chair out in front of her and sitting down, crossing my legs.
And still all I got was a stone cold and silent stare.
"Well if you're not going to say anything than this is a waste of my time, I just thought you would like some pleasant company, but I can see that that's a nevermind," I sighed heavily. "Well what a shame. I'll see you later then."
Still all I got was a glare and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Get over it already. I thought to myself.
"Guards, clean her up, hose her off with lukewarm water and then have someone dress her. But before, give her 20 lashings with naked skin, and I want her to bleed, show no mercy," I stated as I left, leaving with a wink towards Racheal.
"Your Majesty," someone said, interuppting my thoughts as I gazed outside.
I turned my head, my long black locks moving with me as I fixed my dark ice blue eyes on who had interuppted me.
It was Wilson and I relaxed ever so slightly and raised a fine black eyebrow, "Yes? What is it?" I purred out in a threatening voice.
Wilson instinctively took a step back, he knew he shouldn't have interuppted me like he had done. So he bowed his head in submission which just caused me to roll my eyes. Pitiful man.
"Your Highness, I came to tell you that you that the Grievances have arrived," he stated quickly.
"Ahh-okay. That's why you bothered me," I said, giving him a pointed look which he cowered and looked away.
"Well bring one in at a time. You know the drill. Highest paying goes first," I said with a wave of my hand and dismissed him as I began to walk to my throne room.
Once a week I held Grieve Days, which anyone in my land could come to me and ask for something whether it's an object, a baby, land, health or etc, etc. If I was feeling gracious then I would grant them their wish, for something in return. The payments could be anything or everything, like slavery, or pain or something. Whatever I wanted, and the people that came to me would do whatever it takes to get what they want, no matter the price. I did take advantage of it and I had no qualms about it either.
In my throne room, it was lit in an extravagantly dimmed ornate looking way. The ceilings were high and pillars spiraling up held the walls and ceiling up. Upon the ceiling there was a painting that had been painted in the time before me and my take over wihtin this land. The painting was of the land's richness and fulfilling happiness, it was a reminder for any people who came and looked upon it, that they would never see that again.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all fine and dandy with people being happy, it's just I love to cause mischeif and strife. I'm a little fairy demon in that way. That's what I described myself sometimes.
On the walls, it was painted black with gold trimmings and a giant fireplace that danced with red and orange flickers of flames within. You could see the shadows jumping across the walls sometimes. The first person stepped into the room, a more wealthier man of my land. He walked with arrogance and pride and I couldn't help but roll my eys. People like him disgusted and annoyed the hell out of me.
"My beautiful and most generous queen, it is an honor to be here today," the man rumbled on. His greasy black hair was combed back in a douche bag looking way. He was probably in his mid thirties or so, and his light brown eyes were filled with selfish want when I gazed at him directly. I don't like many people or anything for that matter, and he was definitely one of those things I didn't like. I shook my head slightly to clear it and listen to what he was droning on about.
"I would do anything for an outing with your Majesty," was all I really heard him say before I let out a bellowing laughter. Yup, he was one of those suckers! He was a leech, he thought he could woo her and then get married to her and then kill her or something? HA! She had lived for hundreds of years! He was just a measly little thing compared to her. She felt herself baring her teeth at him in amusement and laughter, but her eyes were aflame.
"So what do you say my queen?" The ugly man asked me, gazing at me intently and with selfish desires.
I hid my true feelings and amusement away and smiled pleasantly, laying my hands on my lap. "Well dare I say, that is a tempting offer. But, what is in it for me? What can you really offer me?" I asked him softly, a faint smile upon my lips.
The man's eyes gleamed in success. Ha! He thought he had her! "Well anything that you ask of, I would do," he said with bravo and puffing out his chest.
I dipped my head slightly and motioned for Wilson to get the paper and quill ready, and he did so readily and swiftly.
"Well then, one outing it will be. Tomorrow at noon we shall have a picnic and tea and then you may stay the night and serve me for whatever I want. Sound good to you?" I asked with a soft husky voice.
The man eagerly nodded his head, "Yes, yes ma'am! Sounds great!"
"Good, then sign the paper and you may take your leave. See you tomorrow," I winked, a sultry smile upon my face.
After the man left, I looked over at Wilson and giggled, "I never even got his name. What a shame," I laughed.
"Next!"
