Chapter 28

Sarah's POV

It's been a week that I haven't seen him. He was in California with their family and were here in Paris. We are million miles away to each other, and I miss him so much. Pero mas maganda nga to para kahit paano mamiss namin ang isa't isa. Ang layo na nung dating ako compare ngayon, ibang-iba na. I missed the old me but I don't wanna go back to that kind of life, a happy go lucky girl, someone who doesn't care about anybody else, selfish and a brat. I want this new version of me, someone who cares about her surrounding, about others. I will be forever grateful for having Ge. And I want us to be forever.

"Asher, are you up"?

"Yes mom"

"Give you a minute to prepare for the breakfast"

"Sure"

Yes, that was my mom. This is how we treat each other, so formal. How I wish that our relationship will turn the way back then but I just woke up one day that every single thing about us was cold. I don't know the reason why thing has changed, I tried to talk about them many times but they just keep on answering me "nothing, it' just that....nevermind" until I got tired asking them. Until one day that I'm used to them not being around and for forgetting that they have a daughter who needs them.

Gerald's POV

Nagising na lang si Gerald sa sobrang ingay mula sa baba. Ayaw niya pa sanang bumangon dahil napuyat siya dahil sa magdamag silang nag-usap ni Sarah sa skype, halos 3 am na nag maisipan nilang matulog na. Speaking of Sarah, he misses her so much that he even tried to talk to his parents to follow Sarah in Paris but they said no and he can't do nothing for that.

"Arghh. Makabangon na nga lang, ang ingay" inis na sabi niya dahil mas lalo pang lumakas ang ingay na nanggagaling sa baba.

"Mom what was that noise?" Sabi ni Gerald na pababa na ng hagdan with his white shirt and blue boxer.

"What are you wearing young boy?"

"My usual get-up"

"But we have a visitor and she's not just a visitor she is your friend slash ex-girlfriend. So can you go back to your room and change. Manners"

"Okay mom, I didn't know at the first place. Give me a minute. Maj?"

"Sure Ge, take your time. I can wait" ngiting sabi ni maja.

"How was school Sarah?" Tanong ng mama niya habang hinihiwa ang steak. Ni di man lang niya matingnan sa mata ang anak

"She's doing good mom, she got a high grades. Everything is good back then" proud na sabi ng kuya ryan niya habang may kinakain na salad.

"I'm talking to Sarah, son" seryosong sabi ng mama nila

"Okay, okay" tinaas pa ang kamay ni ryan na akala mo eh, susuko na siya.

"As kuya said, it's great" walang emosyong sabi ni Sarah na nilalaro lang ang pork sa hotdog.

"I hope so, cause the last time I checked you don't know nothing but a party" mommy div.

"Yeahh, the last time you checked. That was a year ago, right?" Tiningnan ni Sarah ang mommy niya

"I said nothing. Anyway mom, dad, kuya. Akyat na lang muna ako. Busog na ako eh"

"Busog ka na? Ni hindi mo pa nga nagalaw yang pagkain mo eh." Daddy Del.

"Kain na lang po ako mamaya, nagawan na ako ng gana. Excuse me" at tuluyan ng tumayo at umalis si Sarah.
