Chapter 22: The dagger

The next morning, Alex and Landon left the hotel that they stayed last night. they were heading to the place where the woman has the dagger. All the people were outside again. but still, Alex had a bad vibration of the town. Also, Alex remembered the nightmare that he was dreaming of last night. he felt that he was worried. Also, he felt something is coming, but he did not want to tell Landon about it. 

two hours, they arrived at the woman's house. they knocked on the door, the door open, they saw the lady. the lady's sad expression. 

"hi, my name is Landon, this is my friend, Alex. we came to hear to talk to you. can we enter? Landon said. the lady didn't care and she let them in. the lady offered them something to drink. 

" so mam, I heard that your son was kidnapped by a woman. can tell me more? Landon asked. the lady seems that she didn't want to talk about it, but she had to anyway. 

"yes, that night, it was like at three in the morning. someone knocked on the door. so I opened it, it was a woman. but I couldn't see my her face. so she was sitting at the table. I went outside to get some milk. when I came back, she was gone. I went to my room. my son was gone. I looked everywhere, but nothing. I was calling for help at the neighbor beside. she saw me holding the dagger. she told me it was La Llorona's dagger. she used the dagger to kill her husband and herself. but me, sad woman, everyday crying for my son to come back." the lady said. she began to cry. 

" could you tell me more of La Llorona, where she lives? Landon asked. 

" the woman was wearing a white dress and has black hair. my neighbor old that she always at the river looking for her children. Lady said. 

'' then tonight, we're heading there," Alex said. 

"you're crazy, she is dangerous." the Lady said. 

" she is right," Landon said. 

" Landon, I defeated monsters, like the evil queen, the snow queen, now I'm going after La Llorona," Alex said. 

" fine, I'm going with you," Landon said. 

' and me, I am taking the dagger with me." the lady said.
