Chapter 9: chased and followed

On the afternoon,Alex was headed to the hotel without noticing that he is being followed. but he was almost to the hotel. Alex walk past  to a beautiful frozen fountain. then he saw lot of stores with big shiny windowns. he saw the nice clothes and the reflection of the windows people walking behind him. he began to walk two more blocks and then he stopped to a window. then this time he notice that two cops were following him. ''  oh damm, they are following me.''  Alex said.  he remembered what  angel to him. 

"Leave immediately, the cops are after us, run or self-defense.'' Angel said on  Alex's mind.  so Alex had to think, how to get  away from them. so he walk to a storeof clothes and he got down immediately. the cops entered to the store looking for Alex. Alex saw the man with the same height as him. he said "  hey, do you want my jacket, its free.''  

'' sure.'' the man said. Alex gave the jacket to him. the man put on the jacket and walked away from the store. the two cops saw him walking out. thinking that  it was Alex. he waited for little while, then he know the coast was  clear. he walked out of the store. it was freezing, but Alex had arrived at the hotel. then he rented a room. Alex was so cold that he stole a jacket from the man without noticing. he reached the room and walked in. Alex stayed for like six hours on the hotel,it was like seven o'clock. the sun was about to set. 

Alex had stayed four more hours. he took a warm shower. but few moments later, he heard police sirens, Alex looked at the window. it was the same cops that was following him. how did they know he was at the hotel? Alex was putting his clothes on immediately. he heard that police were coming outside and a helicopter. Alex was so pressured, he was done and ready to escape. he grabbed the suitcase. got out of the room. he looking at the window if the coast was clear. if was for now. he bagan to look for blankets from the wardroves.  then he found some of them and started  to make a rope. it took him for like five minutes to make the rope of blakets.  then he began to go down. as he was going down, he reached the emergency stairs. he continued to go down the emergency stairs.  then he reached the ground. but one of the cops found him. '' Freeze'' the cop said.  Alex had to run away, he did ran away. the cop was shooting at Alex. he got his gun out shot him back. the police got shot in the arm, that he fell on the ground. Alex ran away on the streets.
