It kicked in. I felt it rush through my veins. It was painful. It was everytime, but it was different. It was more intense. I can't descirbe the pain. It hurt, but I knew what I must do. I looked around and discovered I was in the boot of a car. My hands were ties behind my car, but I didn't find that to be a problem. I just pulled and the rope tore apart. The next problem was the car. I kicked and kicked against the car. Eventually, I broke through. I made it big enough for me to fit. I jumped out and landed right on my head. Although, that didn't stop me. I didn't think anything could stop me. The car kept on going. Maybe they wanted me to escape.
I ran. It seemed like every part of my body except for my mind, knew where I was going. My feet kept going until I reached Alex's house. I could see his bedroom light was still on. I knew I could do what was needed. I walked up to the door and knocked. My sense were heightened so I could hear him walking down the stairs. He opened the door and sighed when he saw me, "It's the middle of the night, Jas. What are you doing here?"
"I don't know, I need to talk."
"Come in. By the way, Tristan stopped by this afternoon. I thought you were done with him."
"I am done with him. Do you know why he came by?" I sat down in the lounge. He went into the kitchen to fetch some water. He came back and sat down across from me, "No, he did slide something under your door."
"Whatever, I'll read it later. Now, I need you to listen to me."
He looked at me, but never replied.
I continued, "I know you know. That I killed Marina, I mean. You must understand, I can't control who I am when I'm like this. I have to do what I'm told. Right now, I'm being told to kill you." He didn't move. He kept staring at me, "You can't kill me. I have children. If I'm dead, what is going to happen to them?"
"Your parents can take them. They don't even need to know the truth."
"No Jas! You can't decide this and you can't do this to my children. They just lost their mother and now they are going to lose their father. You can't."
"You don't understand! I'm not choosing to do this and I didn't choose to kill Marina. I'm not in control!"
"Get control or force yourself not to!" He was crying now, "My children..."
I got up and walked to the kitchen. I wrote a letter for his children. I made it clear that they could only read it when they were 18.
I turned to him and said, "Are you happy? I've sorted it out."
I grabbed the knife from the drawer. I walked closer to him. Alex wiped the tears from his face, stood up and started repeating, "I love you."
I shoved the knife in his stomach twice and then in his heart. He fell and I closed his eyelids. There wasn't a fight this time.
I left the house. Before I left, I grabbed car keys. I got in the car and drove to my next mission. Somehow, I could see the person. It was most likely the blue liquid. I didn't know the person, but that wasn't going to stop me.
I arrived at the house. I didn't even bother knocking. I kicked down the door and ran straight to the man. He looked incredibly scared. I punched him hard before he had time to do anything. He fell to the ground. It was easy to keep him there. I pressed my shoe against his throat.
I said, "Are you George Davids?"
He nodded very faintly.
"Well then I am so sorry."
I grabbed a wooden chair and broke off a leg. I stabbed him with it. Multiple times. I don't know why I felt it was necessary, but I did it anyway. Blood was everywhere.
Hours later, I decided to find Raina. Although she wouldn't tell me what I wanted to know, it was worth a try. I would find her the only way I knew how. The forest. I arrived at it and began walking. Once I was fed up with walking, I started screaming her name. Surely enough, those two men came to fetch me. I didn't know where they came from and they obviously didn't want me knowing that. They placed a bag over my head and walked me to where Raina was. They pulled the bag off and I was blinded by the light in the room. Raina was sitting across from me, writing on a piece of paper. She looked up from whatever she was doing and said, "Well done. Now that you have taken two of your targets, you get to ask some questions."
"The questions are the same as the last time and the time before that. There is no need to ask them again."
"Well, I'm giving the same answers."
"I need to know. You can't expect me to just do this while not knowing what's going on."
"You won't remember any of the answers tomorrow, so why bother?"
I shook my head, "You don't get it. It doesn't matter if I don't remember, I just need to know why I'm killing people."
"There isn't a reason why. I'm telling you who to kill, it is as simple as that."
"There must be a reason! You can't be choosing people for me to kill for no reason unless you are fucking insane."
"Why can't you understand that you are in no place to know?"
"It's because I'm the one doing the killing!"
"I'm done talking about this," she turned to the two men and said, "Get her out of her!"
They walked to me while Raina stood up and walked to the door. The slightly taller one came at me, but I grabbed his head and snapped his neck. The other man backed off. Raina turned around and her face immediately went red. I could see that she was about to burst. She stepped closer towards me.
I said to her, "If you come any closer, I will snap your neck and his neck. Tell me what I want to know!"
"You and I both now that those are just empty threats. Without me, the answers will never come."
I laughed, "Without me, there will be no killings so whatever your plan is, you can't finish it."
"You can't leave. I have control over you. I say what you do and don't do," She grabbed a small grey block and spoke into it, "Move right arm." I looked down at my arm. It moved.
She spoke again, "Lie down on the floor." I tried everything to not lie down, but I did. I couldn't move after that. I had no control over any part of my body. Raina walked over and kicked my head repeatedly.
Everything suddenly became blurry. She mumbled something to the man and left. He just stood there while I lost consciousness. I blinked slowly. I could feel blood dripping from my nose. I could feel the warm sensation of my tears running down my cheeks. It seemed as if time was going slower and slower. I couldn't move. It wasn't painful, but it was an incredibly weird experience having absolutely no feeling in your body.
The next day, after beening unconscious for more than 7 hours, I regained feeling in my body. Although, I was not in the room I had lost consciousness in, rather I was on my dining room floor. I didn't know why I could remember what had happened the day before. It was clear. Everything. This time, I did not care. I had no shred of guilt in my body. I killed two people, one of which being my best friend, but I didn't care. Maybe I had gotten used to it. The killings. The one thing I knew for certain was that there was no turning back.
