Song: Carousel By: Melanie Martinez
----
Currently I'm laying on my bed, while Sam is sitting on the carpeted floor making puppy dog eyes at me and I'm proud to say I'm not falling for them.
"I'm not calling him Sam, for the last time!" I huff and he pouts.
"What could it hurt?" he says.
"He's a rich jerk! After what he said to me the first and second time we made contact. I can't stand his stupid face, let alone his voice!"
"This could also be your way of getting revenge but I guess you don't want that. Well I tried." He sighs. "Anyways so you remember that one dude at the..."
"Revenge? How, spill!" I say interrupting him and he smiles.
"I'm glad you agreed, otherwise me getting this phone would have been useless," he says pulling an iPhone out of his pocket.
"You wasted your money on one of those?! Why?"
"Two words: Music and Instagram," he replies in a serious tone.
"What the fuck are you going to post? Our worn down houses, no wait even better! How about me running from the people I steal from?" I ask sarcastically and he rolls his eyes.
"No need to be rude, plus with all the cute stuff we just got, what is there not to post?! We just have to pose around town, maybe we'll even get offers to model!" He squeals. "Plus you're house isn't even that old," he huffs.
"That's because I try to keep it as clean as I can, plus like you said, it's not that old, but in time, trust me it will not be so put together." I say looking around my room. My house is a two-story, five roomed, three bathroom, house. Luckily it wasn't as worn down as the other houses and the people must have left in a hurry because furniture and everything was left here. I must admit, I am a bit of a clean freak. (I can thank Beatrice for that)!
"Also your house isn't that bad," I retort.
"Well of course it isn't, I keep my house as clean as possible," he says airily and I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, yeah now explain how I can get revenge on that rich bastard!" I whine.
"Ok, ok well he likes the rich version of you right? You can play hard to get, better yet turn him down. Oooh call him out."
"Okay, but wont he recognize my voice?"
"Honey there are apps for that!" He scoffs and turns the device on.
"Oh, don't forget to make the number anonymous and so that he can't track us," I say. Sam looks at me suspiciously, his eyebrow raised. "I watched a lot of criminal shows," I answer.
"That explains it," he says as he sets up everything. While he's doing that, Ralph decides to make his appearance and chitters as he hops up onto the bed and immediately demands attention.
"Alright all set," Sam says looking up and then gasps. "Is that the racoon that decided to break into my house yesterday?" He asks and I laugh.
"I'm sorry Sam really I am. And so is he, aren't you Ralph," I coo as I scratch him behind the ears.
"The audacity," he scoffs.
"Hey don't talk to Ralph like that!"
"You know those things carry diseases," he scrunches up his nose and I roll my eyes.
