The train let out a huge whistle, and all the families waved their children goodbye. Willow Peaks was new to Hogwarts. Ilvermorny was her old school, and her parents did not like it there. It was a very lax wizard school, and didn't care about education, instead they cared about grades. They also found out of Willow's family secret, which compromised their safety.
Even though Hogwarts was miles away from Lake City, Colorado, Willow was allowed to go there if she wished to. Even at 13, Hogwarts sent her a letter requesting her attendance in the new coming semester. She accepted, of course.
The only problem was, she knew absolutely nobody here. That is, before she bumped into a bushy haired girl carrying books and a ginger cat.
"Oh god- sorry- sorry! Did you drop anything? I can help pick it up if you did-" Willow rambled. The girl just chuckled.
"My fault, I bumped into you. I'm Hermione, by the way." She said with her fancy british accent. Willow smiled as she shook Hermione's hand.
"Willow. Willow Peaks" Hermione smiled.
"Are you sitting with anyone?" Hermione asked politely.
"I'm afraid not. I'm new here, from Ilvermorny" Said Willow looked at her feet, then back and the bushy haired girl.
"Well, I think my friends would love to meet you, Willow." Hermione stated with a soft smile. Suddenly, she grabbed Willow's wrist and dragged her to a compartment. Hermione opened the door, and two boys sat on the benches. One, with bright red hair and freckles sat on the left, and then on the right was a brown haired boy, with round glasses. She realized it was the famous Harry Potter, but figured not so say anything.
"Harry, Ron, this is Willow Peaks. She is new to Hogwarts!" Hermione said happily. Willow nodded along.
"Hello! I'm Harry" Said Harry Potter. "Its nice to meet you, Willow."
"Ron. Ron Weasley. Glad you came to Hogwarts" Ron stated patting the seat next to him. Willow sat down and started asking questions.
"So what do we do when we get to Hogwarts?" Willow asked leaning back.
"Well you will get sorted into a house. There is Gryffindor, for the brave, Hufflepuff for the loyal, Ravenclaw for the wise, and Slytherin for the cunning." Ron explained. "We are all in Gryffindor. Slytherin honestly sucks-"
"Not true! Each house has their qualities." Hermione interrupted.
"Why is Slytherin so bad?" Willow asked
"Well it made 'you know who'-" Ron said
"But Voldemort was only one bad egg." Harry added
"Well there is Malfoy too-" Hermione said as the glass door slid open.
"I heard my name?" A boy stood in the door frame. He had platinum blonde hair and pale blue eyes.
"I'm guessing this is- Malfoy?" Willow looked the boy up and down and he didn't look evil.
"I sure am." He smirked "Draco Malfoy. You are?"
"Her name is non of your concern" Ron snapped back making Draco's smirk disappear.
"But what if she gets put into Slytherin? Then it is my concern." Draco spat. "You can barely talk for yourself, so I suggest you don't talk for others."
"And you have so much attitude because...?" Willow said. She knew this boy had no right to get so snappy.
"Hm. Sassy. I like that in a girl." Draco said and Willow stiffened up.
