Roasts so good that it can cook a steak

The Hall burst with noise as soon as the sun rose. Most people had been up for hours, where others had just woken up. Snape was walking around dramatically kicking kids out of the Hall leaving them to head to the dorms. Sir Cadogan decided he would be extra annoying today, and changed the password for each student. Finally, someone got it right, and the held the portrait open so everyone could enter. Nobody had slept well the night before, so everyone headed straight up for a quick nap.

The next few days were extremely uneventful. Like normal, Lupin didn't teach on the last day of the month, which made sense now. Hermione kept scaring the living daylights out of Ron, because she kept popping up in class without anyone noticing. Ron wasn't the only one suspicious. Harry tried questioning her, but got no answers.

Millie had been avoiding both Draco and Willow, no matter what effort they put into speaking to her. It affected Draco in a bad way, because he didn't talk to anyone. He never spoke in class, and he always had dark circles under his eyes. Pansy tried to talk to him but all he did was ignore her, as if she didn't even exist. Pansy made sure that Willow knew how much she hated her, by shoving her in the halls.

Ginny and Lavender seemed to make some kind of alliance against Willow, because they would sit together during meals, and moved in together, just to stare her down for hours at a time. Ginny seemed to hate Willow with a passion, which Willow never understood. But she was used to the burning stare people would give her.

On a happier note, Willow had met a young girl her age, with thick dark hair, that was always in a bun. Her name was Lila, and she was super kind. She was in Hufflepuff and knew Noah. Lila introduced Willow to her best friends, Rylan and Zach. Rylan was tall, with blonde hair and freckles, with bright blue eyes. He was a Ravenclaw. Zach had dark hair, and he was pretty small. He was in Hufflepuff just like Lila.  Apparently, they had all been best friends. Zach was Lila's brother, and she suspected Zach to fancy Rylan, which wouldn't be that surprising. They always acted like they liked one another but as soon as anyone snapped them out of their ongoing stare they would blush and make up excuses. Lila explained how she knew Zach was gay, and she'd been trying to find out if Rylan was too. Either way it was a ship.

Apparently there was a secret door to another set of dorms in all the common rooms, but you would need the code. Willow asked around and it turned out that there were Non-binary dorms, which was quite new. Ash had talked about how much cooler her dorms were, but Willow never put the two together. The day after Willow had found out, Ash came out to her, as Non-binary and bisexual. Ever since that day, all the teachers, all the students, even the ghosts used their pronouns (they, them). It boosted their mood so they smiled much more, and worked harder on most of her studies. It made Willow happy to see that people at Hogwarts cared. Surprisingly, even Snape used the pronouns and seemed quite joyful when he did.

Mercedes got in huge trouble for blowing out every single candle in the Great Hall. There was so much smoke from the blown out candles that you could barely see the galaxy painting above them. Snape seemed happy to punish her, and the odd part was; Mercedes seemed happy about the punishment as well.

Halloween went well, not much happened. Everyone was hyped up for the holiday. The professors gave a bunch of homework for the holiday, which nobody enjoyed. It caused Ron to complain more that normal about the work. Hermione's schedule was so cramped that the trio barely ever saw her. She always had her nose in a book or was taking notes. Ron didn't take any of the classes she did, and Harry was caught up in his own problems, so they couldn't help. Willow felt bad for Hermione, and she tried to help, but seemed to make Hermione's mood even worse. It felt like everything was falling apart.

Even worse, somebody had been spreading rumors about Willow. They all assumed she was a Veela. She just ignored this, because she knew if she retaliated she would let something slip. All the girls just avoided Willow, (except her friends) and the boys would make sickening jokes. Everyday became living hell. Harry and Ron didn't know what to do, so they just stayed by her side 90% of the time. Noah had been extremely feisty. She would fight any girl, boy, or non binary kid who would give Willow a nasty look or make a joke about her. For such a introverted girl, she threw a hard punch. Cedric had to hold Noah back quite a bit. Sadly, Willow had to enchant about 50% of the kids who would come at her. It was really scary.
