Need cheering up?

I wake up a little later than expected, and realize that today is a Monday.

That means that people will probably come by to check up on my progress.

Shit!!!

I bound out of bed, scrambling to get dressed in tidy clothing.

Where is that bag?!?!?! The one I had yesterday-

No.

No. No. No.

I didn't.

But I did.

I left it on Nash's island counter... in his kitchen.

Fuck.

I can't believe I did that.

I then begin to dig and dig through my boxes, until I find a nice outfit, consisting of a periwinkle thin sweater tucked into a high-waisted black flowing skirt, with black nylons and a periwinkle pair of TOMS. I quickly straighten my hair and apply natural makeup, and brush my teeth and take care of other hygiene things. Just as I finish, I hear a knock on the Cafe door.

"Shit, the door's locked," I say to myself as I rush up the stairs to unlock the door.

"Oh my stars, I'm so sorry about having the door locked. I didn't realize the time when I woke up."

"That's... quite alright, Miss Wellings. If I had been another one of my co-workers, you wouldn't be so lucky as to be let off the hook... But I'll let you have this freeby, since it's your first Monday of suspection." The man says to me, and I breathe a sigh of relief.

*End of suspection*

"Ma'am, you have quite a lot of work to do, but sinse it's March now, and you plan on opening in June, I believe you can get it done. I'll send in a good report for your Cafe, and a worker will be back in two weeks to check up on your progress." The worker says to me.

"Oh! Thank you so much!!! That's so great. Have a good day!" I say and wave as he waves back and exits my store.

I look at the clock hanging above the back counter.

Eleven O Clock.

Okay, I need to get some shopping done... I go back downstairs and grab a coat, and go back upstairs, quickly exiting the shop. I turn and lock the door behind me, and slip my chain and my key down my shirt, so I know it's safe.

*At the store*

I've picked up several gallons of paint, Floor polish, a load of cleaning supplies and tools, painting tools, decorations for the walls, and now I'm looking for my last item, but I think I'll have to go to a different store, seeing as I need things to make coffee and such. I ordered and paid for my various coffee machines, and they will arrive in a week or so. I just need the cups and materials. Oh! That reminds me, I need a shelf for in-house coffee cups of various sizes.

Suddenly, my phone begins to ring from the inside of my skirt pocket. I fetch it out and look at the caller ID-

Cameron? I wonder why he's calling...

"Hello?" I say after pressing the phone to my ear.

"Hey Kana! It's Cam. Nash and I were wanting to know if you could hang out today, but Nash is being too much of a wussy, and wouldn't call you." that makes me laugh quietly, smiling.

"Haha, that's cute. I'm happy you called. Uhm, give me an hour, and we can meet somewhere in the middle of Main street?"

"Sure!!! That would be great, thank you!"

"Of course! Tell Nash and his family I say 'hello'!!!"

"Will do! See you in an hour!"

"Okay Cameron, bye!" I say perkily. He says goodbye and I hang up, slipping the phone back into my left pocket. I sigh perpetually, and check out all my items, pay for them, and load them into the trunk of my car, and I drive back to the back parking lot for my shop. I make a few trips, but I get everything inside.

I look at the time, and realize I only have fifteen minutes to get ready.

Why can't I have a break?

 Sooooo, third update this weekend, and there might be a fourth... just because I like working on this story, and I love you guys!!!
