Chapter 9 - All In! A Festival For The Ages!

The audience roared with excitement as the students walked onto the stone platform. Izuku, Naruto, and everyone else was fired up. "Deku.." Katsuki walked towards his friend. "Hm? What's up, Kacchan?" Izuku smiled at his friend. "You better make it to the finals, I'll be waiting." The other mumbled and stormed off to speak with the Bakusquad. "Naruto-kun.." Hinata got Naruto's attention. "What us it, Hinata?" Naruto answered. "Let's do our best." She replied and went to speak with some others. Naruto.. You better be in the finals. Sasuke thought to himself.

AFTER SETTLING

"I'm ready." Kiba grinned and looked around. "Don't get ahead of yourself, Kiba." Ojiro grinned at his rival. A bit after the Konoha 12 settled in at UA, Ojiro and Kiba sparked a rivalry through Monopoly. The faculty and staff agreed to let Kiba have Akamaru, in order for his "Quirk" to work. There wouldn't be a Player Rep after what Katsuki did last time.

PRELIMS! FIRST EVENT!

The students got ready, and as soon as the proctor for the second time (AKA Midnight) called the start, the students nearly blasted through the course. Todoroki used the same tactic he used during the first festival, but some people saw it coming. Neji used his Byakugan and quickly saw the incoming ice, being able to dodge and quickly take the lead. The audience cheered, it seemed some of them wanted a newcomer to win. Neji dodged some of the Villain Robots and destroyed one. Katsuki blasted himself past Neji and he took the lead, only to be dragged down by Kirishima, who was being dragged down by Tetsutetsu. "Let go, damn extras!!" Katsuki raged and the two and kicked them away, crashing into a Villain Robot. Surprisingly, Sasuke and Naruto were currently tied, both being in 7th. Naruto made some clones and had them throw the real him across, landing in 4th. Sasuke and Izuku grabbed the real Naruto and were sent with him. The audience roared with excitement as they neared the second stage, most of the students were catching up, seeing they were faster than the year before.

SECOND EVENT!

Let's do this, Izuku thought as he stared at the The Fall, or, the Second Stage. Some things were different, however. The ropes were turning, and the platforms were a bit thinner. He gasped as he saw Naruto, Shoto, Katsuki, and other students easily pass. He had an idea and sprang up on a rope and bounced away, making it easier to get across. Meanwhile, Monoma surprisingly was in 3rd, having using the abilities of others. He pondered at the third and final stage, The Landmine Field. Neji, however, was locked in a race duel with Katsuki. Naruto's clones sacrificed themselves to the landmines. It was an all out battle for first place. The order continued as Neji, Shoto, Deku, Katsuki, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kiba, Ojiro. Naruto sparked an idea and made clones who vaulted him towards first place. He ended up in second, as Neji hopped forward and used Rotation, sending everyone back, lading in first and crossing the finish line. The audience cheered for him. "First place secured." Neji chuckled to himself. "Good job, Neji!" Naruto told Neji. "Thanks. Let's get a move on while we still can." Neji hurried back to stage with the others.
