"Kate?" I ask since I could only see black screen on the face time.
Guess she fell asleep on call  I wanted to talk to someone. But who everyone might be sleeping right now.
"Let's see" I murmur and I scroll through instagram and found Nelly online. What's she doing this late .  For 15 minutes she was online and it took me 15 minutes to say
Hey
And she's offline, dumbass took you so long just to write a word.    I lyed down phone on my chest. Then it vibrated.
Hiiiiii
That alone made me jump straight up.
J : wyd?
N: nth reallly
J: Same
N:Today was weird xD
J: yeah tell me about it
Then no texts from her, what to write, think you dumbass  and my curious brain did it's job
J: about the kiss today, what was it for?
delivered,seen and nothing else. I was worried.  Should I have not written that? Is it that she doesn't want to talk  about it? Is she mad?  One question after the other popped up in my head.
Then
N: how do I explain it. It's sort of like a thank you from my side, since you took care of Austin.
A part of me died.  Stupid, actual dumbass. She would never like you. Stupid

My heart was racing, it took me 5  minutes to answer her question.  Think, think, THINK!  I could have a panic attack. Then my genius brain wrote

N: how do I explain it. It's sort of like a thank you from my side, since you took care of Austin.
Great just great  yes I had to thank her for today but that's not the truth for kissing her. I liked her, that was the truth. You're an idiot  the thought came to mind.
So I tried to make it more comfortable.

N: so I was wondering if I were to take you on a date, what would you call a perfect date?
If you what? Is she really playing something here. First the kiss as a thankyou and  if she was to take me on a date.
Don't think too much. I said to myself.
J: Sunsets are great.
N: they are I love em
Oh well at least I know  how to take you on a date. If ever possible
N: I always wanted to go on the beach at night time to see stars from the horizon and it's reflection rippling on the ocean. The sound soothing. It would be beautiful.
That reason she gave made me want the same thing. I'll take you one day as a friend or more I'll take you.
J: Maybe I could take you sometime.

I died on spot when she texted.
J: Maybe I could take you sometime.
That just melted me. At night with Jade at the beach to see the scene I always wanted to see.
N: you're killing me
J: how?
N: Seeing something I wanted to ever since I was a child with you is a beautiful thought.
J: but why me
N: because you're more to me than you think you are.
I added the hint. Which lead me to hug my pillow and lay down

What?! Bruh I'm a blushing mess.   I read that text again and a smile bloomed on my face and a blush growing up.
J: how?
N: you ask too much
J: you make me curious about so many things about you
N: like?
J: Now look who's having questions
N: You're an idiot
And I had to let her know somehow I like her without saying it.
J: yes, I'm your idiot.

J: yes, I'm your idiot.
I sank deep in my pillow reading that text again and again.
My idiot. Mine
I swore  that my smile grew. So did the heat on my cheeks.
N: idiot
J: yours
N: night you bastard
J:your bastard
N: yeah yeah
J: Night shorty.
With that I walked to my window. I had a small garden outside on the ledge of it blooming with white jasmine. It went along my room with indoor plants, a book shelf filled with books some on my night table, a study table and my bed.  Covered in black bed sheet with silver swirls on the border of it. With a matching black blanket with white inside, and my white pillows.
The jasmines looked wonderful under the moon light.At the horizon stars and  city lights came to sight. I just imagined Jade hugging me from behind and sharing this wonderful view with me. I smiled at the thought.
Should I tell her?  And the thought clung to me till morning.
