Although he could not say with words the love he felt inside for her, he treasured every moment with her as if it were his last. She could have shot him that first day, but she didn't. She could have slit his throat while he slept that night, but she didn't. An assassin with quick, calculated movements, she could have ended him at any moment... but she didn't.
