On the third night, the duo found themselves surrounded with a mediterranean garden filled with many plants which covered the big pillars that stood in one line.
The columns resembled ancient Greek architecture and even the small path was covered in cracked marble tiles.
The scenery was once again breathtaking.
"You decided to finally be punctual"
"Hey don't push it, I'm going to stop coming here If you keep teasing me", the girl pouted.
"Oh no", the male waved while being playfully sarcastic.
"You say it like that, but I'm hundred percent sure you would miss me If I was gone"
"Not really, since you are basically just part of my delusional brain"
The female gasped in shock and clutched her clothing in the heart area as she acted hurt by his words.
"I thought I told you that I'm a real person"
"It's still hard to believe that"
The girl shifted her head to look at the boy who looked like he was thinking about something.
"Then how could your 'brain' come up with such specific things I told you about myself", she said as she air quoted the before said word,
"...like the things I liked, disliked, where I'm from."
He looked at her as he came down from his excessive overthinking.
She was still a mystery to him, but her words made him believe a little bit more in her.
"I don't know", he sighed as they reached the edge of the small garden and leaned on the stone railing that overlooked the blue ocean, "I don't know what to think anymore"
The small breeze from the horizon brushed through his locks making his features more visible.
In her eyes, he was the most gorgeous man she had ever met.
They both breathed in the landscape that was in front of them while being silent.
She thought about some things a bit more.
Was she selfish?
Was it that bad that she wanted to spend time with him forever?
Or was it bad that she knew the painful truth of that never happening.
They could never be together no matter what they did or how much they tried.
They were two opposite worlds.
