"Where were you last night?"

His voice tickled her skin and hearing the concern in his voice, she hugged him tighter.

"I pulled an all nighter, I'm sorry for worrying you"

He sighed and eventually they both pulled away.

He scanned her face before flicking her forehead.

"Hey what was that for?!", she squealed in pain as she pressed her hand on her now reddened spot.

"Being reckless"

Her pout was soon replaced with a wide grin.

"HAH I knew you'd miss me"

"You're delusional", he turned his head away to hide the slight smile that crept on his face.

Maybe it is considered a little bit selfish on her side, for invading his life without permission.

Because as of now, they were getting attached to each other with every night they spent together.

She realized that too.

Even when they talked like usual about the most random stuff, one particular thing bashed in the back of her mind.

Should she stop doing this before it gets too late?

She became even more uneasy.

The night before wasn't an all nighter, like she called it, but instead she wanted to think about this situation and what she should do.

"What are you spacing all about?", he suddenly asked making Y/N turn her face to look at the boy in the eyes as he scanned her expression.

He wasn't particularly good at reading people's emotions but he could tell that something was bothering her.

Was it the thing she pulled an all nighter for or was it something completely different?

In the end she answered with a short 'nothing, don't worry about it' so he decided to let go of the matter.

Her smile made his worries nonexistent at the moment and so they continued conversing among themselves like they usually did.

Maybe she didn't realize it too, but Shinsou's thought drifted in the same direction as hers.

After spending so much time with class 1A he became more weary of his feelings and knew what it feels like to have a genuine friend.

Midoriya made sure of that.

So Shinso knew that these new developing feelings towards Y/N weren't just friendly ones, but rather something so much more.

And that scared him to the core.
