"How do you manage too look so sleep deprived when you're literally sleeping to see me?", Y/N asked as she approached the boy who sat himself beneath a pine tree.

Once again the place changed and they found themselves surrounded with various big trees.

The ground seemed damp but when he stood up his fingers that touched grass that was beneath him a second ago stayed dry.

"Don't get too cocky now", he brushed a little branch that seemed stuck on his side,
"I always look like this", his tired eyes bored into hers.

"I know, and you look so pretty", the girl gave him a closed eye grin as she finally approached him.

He turned away on an instinct as he blushed from her comment and his eyes became more awake.

"Stop saying nonsense", he grumbled in incoherent voice.

"I'm not!", she ran up to him and like always they began strolling on the straight path that led through the coniferous forest.

"Do you think we would be friends If we were born in the same world?", Y/N asked the violet haired boy.

"Why that sudden question?"

"I don't know, it just popped in my mind", the girl chirped.

Shinso sighed.

"Maybe, I don't know", he looked around not focusing on anything particularly, "What about you?"

"Well I liked you from the first time I saw you, so I'd probably befriend you If we lived in the same world too"

He knew that she implied that she saw him on the tv at where she lived, but his ears focused on one more important part of what she said.

I liked you from the first time I saw you.

The giddy feeling in his stomach increased.

Did she mean what she said?

And did she mean it in the context he thought she implied on?

He's not very sociable but his quirk made him read people more carefully and as of right now he couldn't read her one bit.

Was it because this is the first time he felt something similar to love?

He glanced one more time to see her rambling and scanned her every feature.

It amazed him how a simple human being could intrigue him this much without even trying so hard.

"Shinso... you're staring", he came down from his line of thoughts, "Do I have something on my face?"

She started touching her features to find the thing she thought he looked at.

Thankfully for him there was.

A small ladybug placed itself on her cheek.

"Stay still", he said in a husky voice.

She did what he said and he reached with his big rough hands to remove the little insect.

The moment his fingertips touched her soft delicate skin the girls blood flushed into her face.

The lady bug flew away the moment he tried to take it off but instead of moving his hand away he cupped the girls cheek.

He got one step closer to her without breaking the eye contact they had as she wore a bewildered look on her face.

When he saw her expression he stopped himself from getting any closer.

His quirk crossed his mind and anxious feeling washed all over him when he saw her puzzled expression.

So what If she said the word 'like'?

It's not that big of a deal.

What was he doing?

As If on queue, the girl interlocked her hand with his free one.

Her warm touch encouraged him as he squeezed her hand back.

The way it perfectly fit in his hand... it was like it was meant to be held by only him.

His calloused thumb caressed her cheek once again.

"May I kiss you?", he asked in a deep and most gentle voice you could ever hear but on the inside he was afraid of her answer.

She hummed in response and the feeling of a stone that laid on top of his heart seemed to drop.

So he leaned in and placed his lips on top of hers getting lost in the warmth of her touch.
