Note: The Cheetah Girls are in New York, this book takes place in 2004 and the girls are 14/15.

The five girls are in the parking lot of a plaza performing their song "Road to Fame." The girls are all wearing matching polka dot and zebra outfits. The girls are singing loud and are slaying their performance. The Cheetah Girls was gaining the attention of pedestrians. Galleria and Chanel were holding down the vocals. Dorinda, Aqua, and Angie are rocking it with their dance moves and stage presence.

The Cheetah Girls finished off their performance strong, Galleria finished the song off with a high note. The pedestrians applaud the girls for their performance. The group smiles and says thanks to their audience. After the performance they wave to the crowd, walk to the side, and huddle up. "Girls that was great! We sholl did that!" Galleria chuckled to her friends. "I know right, that was a pretty good performance! I hope Pucci got all of that on camera!" Chanel continued as she pointed to her little brother Pucci. "Same! I hope he got me doing the H-Town" Aqua said in her southern Houston accent. "They definitely recorded me doing that backflip with me tripping, it had the audience raved!" Dorinda recounted, reminding the girls of how her dance skills improved from the last performance. "Girls, I was so nervous for this performance but it turned out better than I thought," Angie remarked shyly while having her head down.

"See, I told you girls that you can improve, and since we did just that we need to get a gig elsewhere because this gig didn't get as much traffic as we thought it would" Galleria beamed with a positive and optimistic attitude, she usually wasn't that optimistic normally. "You might've not got much traffic but you all did give a great performance for my few viewers on VideoTime," Pucci explained as he butted into the conversation that the friends were having. "Yeah, little bro you're right!" Chanel said to Pucci as she ruffled his hair. "The few people also enjoyed us and since we did great they might recommend us to other people," Angie gushed. "True, let's bow out before we go" Galleria pondered. The Cheetahs and Pucci bow down while the audience applauds. After that, they walk out with their stuff and leave to go to their houses.

At The Garibaldi Residence:

The Cheetahs are at their houses, Galleria decides to call her friends and discuss their next performance. "Oo-oo-oo I got a great idea for our performance, maybe it should be at that Daycare again! The children loved us" Aqua said excitingly and impatiently "From the looks of it I don't think performing at that Daycare again would be a great idea!" Chanel said reluctantly. "Yeah, those children booed and threw their bottles at us" Dorinda recalled. "The teachers kicked us out after that, we weren't even that bad" Galleria says trying to make enlightenment of the memory. "Bubbles and Aqua, those kids hated our performance I'm just saying!" Angie said in a low voice. "True.... the Daycare won't be an option!" said Galleria. "Maybe we can do Central Park, looks of people go there to see the scenery, to walk, exercise, or bring their kids to play! It's the perfect amount of foot traffic!" Chanel suggested proudly.

"Yes, that's the perfect place I don't know why we never performed there. Now we just need to know when and what part of the park to perfo-!" Galleria said before being interrupted by Pucci. "Hey sis, the performance I uploaded to VideoTime is the top 3rd video of the week. It has 7k views!" Pucci told Chanel, showing her the computer. "OMG! OMG! OMG!" Chanel screamed. "OMG!" Angie, Aqua, and Dorinda screamed. "Are you for real Pucci? I know that you're a little prankster!" Galleria questioned. "No Galleria he is for real!! Go to the website" Chanel replied with excitement. Galleria types the website and immediately sees the top 10 videos of the week and sees their performance video at #3. "OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! AHHHHHHHHH!! THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO PROCESS!" Galleria screams over the phone.
