Previously on Road to Fame
The three A&R people, Ms. Michelle, Mr. Harvey, and Mr. Joseph looked at each confused and speechless. "That was... something!"
Ms. Simmons and Mr. Garibaldi both looked at each other both knowing that the A&R people didn't like it. Their faces both showed conflict, should they tell them the truth or not say anything? "You all did such a great job, give me a hug!" Ms. Simmons said she walked up to the girls and gave them a hug.
"While we make our decision, please go to the reception/waiting area" Harvey commands.
Everyone is walking around when something catches Galleria's eye, "~gasp~ Oh my gosh! Is that a smoothie parlor? In the label's HQ!" Galleria asked with awe and shock. "I think it is," Chanel answered. "We got to go there, come. I'm about to drink all of the smoothies I can."
Everyone gets up and follows Harvey to the A&R room. "So ladies and gents, the performance was... alright. It was alright, it was very off." Mr. Harvey said. Mr. Joseph moves Harvey aside and steps up closer to the Cheetahs. "We felt like your performance was missing something, y'all did a better job in the video than in the performance today." Mr. Joseph states. "I hope you do not take offense to this, the performance was subpar."
"Oh, well thanks for everything..." Galleria sadly thanked them. The others say thanks and leave the room with their heads down and in despair.
Everyone is about to leave Hollywood in a day's time, they're packing and making sure they haven't left anything. "Hey! Hey! Hey! I heard that the teen pop diva Kahlua is in town" Angie says, revealing what she heard. "Wait, Angie, are you serious?" asked Dorinda says. "Yes, I'm serious! I heard it from the grapevine," Angie replied.
"We should try to find her! I always wanted to meet her!" Galleria says. "I love her song the Toyz is Mine it's my jam," Chanel says while doing a little dance. "Y'know the song is not about toys," Aqua says, getting weird stares from her friends. "It's about boy toys!" Aqua reveals. The room fills with ohs as they all get what she said.
"Cheetahs I'm hatching a plan!" Galleria says. "So, we know Kahlua is signed to the label that we tried to get signed to," Galleria says. "Yes and?" Dorinda asks. "That means she might be there at the LA building. But, I don't want to step foot near there," Galleria continues. "Let's see if she is performing anywhere here," Chanel says.
"Girls, girls, girls!" Angie says. "I might know where she is at. I've done a bit of research, she likes tacos and is obsessed with froyo. I think that's a great hint," Angie says. "How do you know all of this?" Dorinda asks. "I have a lot of time on my hands....." Angie says with her head down. "My twin just found out through a magazine. She thinks she's slick and sneaky!" Aqua says jokingly exposing Angie. They all laugh and start hatching a plan.
