Previously on Road to Fame......

"Cheetahs this is not good!" Galleria complained. "Of course this would happen now, the universe just doesn't want this to happen for us!" she continued. "I know right, how are we going to audition though?" Chanel asked. "Y'all can continue on without me! I.. won't... hold you back... bleh!" Aqua said dramatically.

"Of course we will!" Galleria confirmed, she walked closer to Aqua and sat on the side of the bed, the other girls do the same. "I know that you probably feel really bad and that you're missing out on part of the trip but I promise we will try to make you feel as involved as possible," Dorinda added. "I can get Pucci's camera and record the moments just so you can see it!" Chanel offered. "Awww that is so sweet of y'all" Aqua smiled, she started to lighten up. "This is why y'all are the bestest friends in the entire world!" Aqua happily grinned. "Point and the blank!" Chanel said.

The Cheetah Girls excluding Aqua go down the elevator into the hotel's yoga room, it looks just like a dance studio so it works out fine. It's empty in there and nobody else is around, the perfect timing for practicing for the A&R auditions. "Okay, Cheetahs! We have not been practicing as much as we planned to and it's almost the day of the auditions!" Galleria stated while walking around. "So let's go over the new parts!"Galleria instructed. 

The four Cheetahs walk back to the audition room waving awkwardly. "We're ready!" Dorinda said. Galleria gives the CD to Ms. Simmons and she puts it in the sound system/speakers, Pucci gets his video camera out, and all of the Cheetahs are in their dancing stances. The dance moved through each girls bodies effortlessly and smoothly, the 808 of the fast-paced R&B song moved them. Galleria starts out of the gate belting and starts singing the verse "Five girls from New York, ready to make an impact, tryna keep our education intact. We thrive and strive for success, standards for ourselves aren't less, we're breaking out of this mess, Cheetah's we act up...." she sings effortlessly

After the questionable performance, Chanel asked "So, how'd you like it?" Chanel asked.

The three A&R people, Ms. Michelle, Mr. Harvey, and Mr. Joseph looked at each confused and speechless. "That was... something!" Michelle honestly said. "GREAT! Very great girls!" Harvey blurted out, overtly lying to the girls. "Yup, I agree! I see why the video went viral" Joseph sarcastically bantered. "They liked it!" Angie excitedly whispered, a big smile appearing on her face. Angie is smart, but she didn't catch the sarcasm, neither did Dorinda, or Chanel. Galleria looked at the A&R people suspiciously with a mean mug face, but it turned into a slight smile "Thanks," thanked Galleria. Ms. Simmons and Mr. Garibaldi both looked at each other both knowing that the A&R people didn't like it. Their faces both showed conflict, should they tell them the truth or not say anything. "You all did such a great job, give me a hug!" Ms. Simmons said, she walked up to the girls and gave them a hug. "Thanks, mom. I think we made it to the roster," Chanel thanked. "It doesn't work like that, you will have to wait for a few days, weeks, or maybe a month or two to get onto a label's roster." Ms. Simmons corrected. 

"While we make our decision, please go to the reception/waiting area" Harvey commands.  Everyone leaves the room and does what Mr. Harvey says, they all leave the room with muttered chatter. Now it is only them in the room, "Soo, is somebody going to say it?" Michelle insinuated. "I will! That performance was alright, very subpar." Joseph disclosed. "They were better in the video than they were today. We could add them to the roster, but they would cost a lot of money." Harvey chimed in. "Artists development for them would be very expensive, I thought they would've had it together so that we could get them started on making an album already," Michelle said. "I agree, we don't need to overspend on a new artist when we have other artists who need the money for music videos, concerts, tours, and other things." Joseph agreed.
