Author's POV ァ・央
Success is the perfect aim at a wild heart. Controversially, it's kind of wicked in its own ways. it's own dimensions and its own scale. When a skyscraper is high enough and out of reach, life may seem so cruel, but only time. Only time can tell your way to heaven..
"All rise".
The crowded courtroom was now a place, Manoban was wishing he can escape.
"Department Two of the Superior Court is now in session. Judge John presiding. Please be seated". The bailiff spoke as Manoban looked over at his daughter who proudly looked back at him. With the eyes of the tiger, Lisa faced her father's sorrow with a lipped smile.
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Calling the case of Lisa Manoban versus her father Manoban Areum Anuman. Are both sides ready?". The judge asked plurality asked.
Manoban stood behind the bars, gulping down whatever sanity he had. He knew he lost this battle, he knew from the start that he couldn't face his own daughter and reverse the cards on her.
Lisa wasn't the one to be fooled and fall without a plan.
Lisa's lawyer spoke, "Ready for Lisa, Your Honor".
The defense attorney then stood up tall. "Ready for the defense, Your Honor".
"Will the clerk please swear in the jury?". The judge commanded.
"Will the jury please stand and raise your right hand?". Both of our lawyers stood.
"Do each of you swear that you will fairly try the case before this court and that you will return a true verdict according to the evidence and the instructions of the court, so help you, God? Please say 'I do'.". The clerk looked at them.
"I do".
"I do". They both answered.

Lisa's POV ポ遠じ
Chess is the board game that goes on in board rooms and bored brains. It has no room nor uses for empathy. My whole life has been like a movie scene, dismayed for people who like to count torture as an escape, but this is not where it ends, because, in chess, you don't know what to expect.
"Are you familiar with this?". My Lawyer asked my father and showed him papers, which made his eyes widen in return.
"I.. I, how did you find this?".
"Manoban, you've not only lied to the judge, but you have manipulated the people around you into doing what you want".
"Your daughter has fallen as a victim to your crucial attempts into trying to kill her". I swallowed hard but blinked at the words that were said.
"Do you have anything to say for that?". My Lawyer questioned my father who looked around, seeming so guilty for a split second.
"I did what was right".
But there it is.
A pang of hurt rushed through me, but I crossed my arms as Jennie squeezed my hand lovingly. "Killing your own daughter is right? Then what is the act of bravery to you, Manoban?".
My father didn't answer.
Of course, he wouldn't have an answer.
"So you admit to your mistakes?--". He cut the lawyer off and angrily spoke, "Stop reminding me of what has already been done!".
