"*stretches a bit* All done. The reports are all done and organised. I've analyzed what was infiltrated into the CCT. Now then. *looks at the time*...Its 6:05 am? Jeez." I stood up and grabbed the papers before placing them in my inventory. I then headed out of my room to check whether the girls were awake yet. As I entered the dorm, I saw Ruby on the bed side, sitting down and swinging her feet back and forth. It seemed that she had woken up early and somehow remembered to bring clothes with her as she had a bag of red, yellow and black clothes. I waved at her as she waved back to me.
"Morning Ruby." I said to Ruby, who enthusiastically said, "Good morning Player." I then looked around and saw Yang and Blake still sleeping. I then said to Ruby, "Want some tea to start the day off?" She thought for a sec before shrugging and nodded at me. I then summoned two cups of golden flower tea and gave one to her. We then drank in relative peace, chatting here and there.
After we finished our drinks, Ruby remembered that she had to go to Ozpin's office and also bring me with her. Before we left, we woke Yang and Blake up. Well, Ruby did. I, on the otherhand, woke Tyrel and Weiss up by sending a message to Tyrel's scroll, which was, "Yo, it's morning already. Had a good sleep?" After I wrote the message, I sent it. Silence enveloped us all, but not for long, as everyone present could hear an immensely loud, but muffled noise.
(Not mine, the credit goes to HAN SOLO DIES...wait. Darn it, now I'll be castrated by the Star Wars fans. Oh no. Well anyways, play the video from 0:08 to 0:38 and then stop.)Ruby, Yang and Blake looked at me while I was laughing like there was no tomorrow. After I finished laughing and wiped a tear away, me and Ruby went out and headed to Ozpin's office while Yang and Blake went on with their usual morning routine.
We were now currently going up to Ozpin's office, and we would've reached it by now if it wasn't for someone pressing every single button on the elevator. I pinched the bridge of my nose as Ruby just whistled innocently. We waited until the elevator finally reached to our destination, to which we entered the office. Inside was Ozpin, Ironwood and Prof. Goodwitch, all standing there like they were discussing something. "Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here...It wasn't me." Ruby said rather quickly to Ozpin who chuckled as he said, "Thank you for coming, Miss Rose. How are you feeling? And why are you here as well Mr. Player?" Before Ruby answered I said, "Well, after hearing what had happened last night from Ruby, I had the feeling I'd be needed here." Ozpin nodded as Ruby said, "Okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't 0-3. *notices every adult in the room being silent* Okay, so that's the tone we're going for, got it." Ironwood, Prof. Goodwitch, Ozpin, and Ruby began talking about what had happened last night in the CCT, while I listened. Soon enough, Ozpin dismissed Ruby and told her to go to her team to get ready for today, while I stayed behind. When Ruby entered the elevator and went down, I took out the paper I had with me and said to Ozpin, "After hearing the incident from Ruby, I checked the CCT for any signs of change. That proved to be fruitful." I gave the papers to Ozpin, who read it with Ironwood. Both of them widened their eyes as they read. "What?! A virus has been implanted into the CCT? But what would the assailant gain from this?" Ironwood said as he thought about the motives of the assailant. "That's not all. It seems that, according to the report, the 'virus' itself is a lot of other malwares all congregated into one giant clump, 'like an amalgamation of malware' as the report said." Ozpin said, to which I added. "There's one thing that is more distressing than this. It's not possible to safely remove this without it completely overloading and short-circuiting the CCT Tower." Everyone snapped their faces towards me, with Ironwood commanding me in a serious tone, "Elaborate. Now." "Whoever made this 'virus' thought of the possibility that someone could come across this and quickly attempt to remove. Due to that, they made it so that the 'virus' will exponentially multiply rapidly until the whole CCT overloads and collapses. How do I know this? Well, I somehow managed to copy the whole codings of the 'virus' without triggering it, and tested it on a burner phone. And, well, this happened." I said as I took out the burner phone I used from my inventory and showed it to everyone. They were shocked by what they saw. Phone was puffed out with some of the circuit board jutting out and smoke still being emitted. I then deleted the phone and said, "Now what? If I try to do something, the 'virus' will activate, even at the slightest touch as I saw from my small experiment." Ozpin and the other two talked abit with eachother before Ironwood said to me, "Thank you Mr. Player. Because of your effort, we know that our enemy had made their move. Problem is, we don't have any other choice except to wait if your findings made it clear." "No problem, General. I was just doing what was logical." Ozpin looked at me before shaking his head and said, "Ok then. Mr. Player, you may now leave and get ready for the Missions today." I nodded as I headed to the elevator. The last thing I heard before the elevator had closed was Ozpin muttering, "So, you finally made your move, Salem."
