Zane's POV

I heard a long mournful howl coming from Cole's room. I turned around to Salena crying into her hands.

"What's wrong?'

"I can't stand hearing his howls! I can't stand seeing him being like this!"

"Like...what?"

"Y-you don't know?"

"No..."

Her tears streaked down her cheeks, "I'm going to go check on him."

"I don't think that would be very good at this point of time."

She ignored me and headed for his room. I sighed and then followed her. She knocked.

"Cole?"

"What do you want?"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah."

"Can I please come in?"

"Sure."

The door came open and Cole was standing there with his tail twitching in annoyance.

"Oh, hi Zane."

"Hello Cole."

He scowled at me and slowly turned away from me. I smiled at him before walking away to my own bedroom across the hallway from his. I sighed as I sat down on my bed. My phone rang, it was Pixal. I blushed thinking about the female nindroid. I was interrupted by a voice. A song. Piano music coming from Cole's room. I walked toward their door and peeked through the crack. I saw Cole singing, and Salena playing his mother's piano.

I blinked before recognizing Cole's voice. His voice surrounded me.

I could just see Cole's face with small tears tracks on it. I was surprised, He'd said crying made him weak.

Jay joined mw at Cole's door with an unreadable expression on his face. Cole's voice became stronger and his tears went away.

I pulled away from the door as Cole pulled her up the stairs to the rooftop. Salena sang "However big, however small

Cole joined her,"

Coe spun her around in a circle and pushed his face close to hers singing,"

They finished singing together, "For the world we're gonna make..."

Cole's pov

She and I danced together her, and my voice joined with each other. We danced on the rooftop. She was a wonderful dancer.

She smiled into my face, "For the world we're gonna make,"

I leaned down with her in my arms and kissed her face. She leaned inti the kiss and I knew she didn't care that I was a wolf.

She smiled and touched my ears and murmured, "You're beautiful even as a wolf. I love you."

I blushed in response, and groan as my hands started tingling. She let go with a worried expression on her face. My hands were growing and aching.

"G-get Sensei, p-please."

She gave me a scared look as she raced off down the stairs. Sje came back quickly with sensei following her. He dropped down on his knees and picked up my aching hands. His face looked worried as he pocked it making me cry out.

"You're transforming more quickly than normal."

My hand already had a claw growing. Jay ran up to the balcony with a worried exasperation.

"I followed you guys up he- Cole?"

He leaned down and stroked behind my ears making me moan.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

I answered with a howl. I tried to talk. It didn't work.

"Sensei! Make him talk!" Jay cried out.

"He can't, this wat he must go through."

Salena was crying, I got up and licked her face like a dog does. That just made her cr more. So I tried to sing.

"A-a m-million d-dreams..." I managed to choke out.

Her eyes filled with tears as she sang, "A million dreams for the world we're gonna make..."

I tried to stand up but I swayed and the last

I saw and felt was darkness...
