{Summary- You and Kuina met a long time ago at summer camp. Now she's older and remembers you but you don't recognize her at first to be your Hikari.} (I think that was her name when she was a boy right? Sorry this is kinda long lol) - - - Kuina sat in class at the desk in front of Chishiya. He would poke her occasionally for them to giggle at random things and people in there class. Honestly they alomost never paied attention but they was the type to have the two highest grades on tests so they could care less about classwork. The teacher walked in with a very small figure following behind. The whole class eyes you while the teacher cleared his throat. You had (your hiar type) out in a neat way with a black anime shirt with light blue jeans and your white bag (What the shirt and bag look like👇)

Teach:" We have a new student joining us for this year this is (Y/N)."
Kuina zoned out staring at you intensely. You looked exactly like her old friend she had in summer camp that she never forgot and even had the same name. How could she forget the one person that accepted and stood up for her back then.
Flashback Random kid:"Ha, Ha you knows karate but is afraid to hit someone!"
All the kids gathered around Hikari as he got up stumbling slightly. He got pushed into someone on the lunch line on accident. He apologized but got pushed to the ground, knowing his teaching they fought for a while. But failing to deliver the final hit, the same thing his father always scolded him for.
You:" Leave him alone!"
You walked up to the next boy and kicked him sending hom flying to the wall. Several kids gasped and backed up while otheres cooed and instigates whispering things like" he got beat up by a girl" and giggling. You turned to Hikari and smiled while he stared at you in awe, you grabbed his hand and walked out the lunchroom caben.
You:" Im (Y/N) by the way are you okay?"
Hikari:" Yes Im Hikari and thank you but why did you help me?"
You stopped and smiled at him sweetly
You:" I just wanted to see him fly"
You both giggled as he let you drag him to a lake to feed the ducks away from everyone else.
End of Flashback
At some point the teacher instructed you to sit at the desk on the side of Kuina. She didnt mean to stare at you so much but the more she took in your features the more she had a feeling you were the one. The one that was her first friend and the one she had secretly grown feelings for. All thoese years of being apart and yet her butterflies she felt the moment she met you then all returned now.
Unfortunately for you, you remember the Hikari you were looking for to be a boy. There wasnt a day that went by that you didnt remember him or even tear at the thought of never finding him. That was the only person you cared for and much to your annoyance this chick next to you wouldnt stop staring. You sighed to yourself and turned slightly towards Kuina
