bryce's pov:
after coming back from kayla's i made myself a bowl of cereal. i swear, she gave me that hammer in the hottest, sexiest way you could give someone a hammer. right when i sat down the doorbell rang.
bryce~ ugh
i got up and got the door. addison was standing there and she didn't seem too happy, like she normally is.
addison~ do you like kayla?
i almost spit my cereal out. i don't even say anything, i just stare in shock
addison~ i knew it
she storms off. i put my cereal down on the coffee table and chase after her.
bryce~ addison wait-
but she didn't. i finally caught up to her and grabbed her arm.
bryce~ addison!
addison~ what? you like my best friend!
bryce~ and i didn't mean to! i swear i didn't addison!
addison~ you kissed me today, you said i loved you yesterday, but for all i know, you were faking it!
bryce~ gosh addison, don't be so dramatic!
addison~ DRAMATIC? ARE YOU INSANE? YOU LIKE MY BEST FRIEND
bryce~ ok stop, addison. because you can not tell me you didn't know we weren't working.
addison~ oh my gosh, bryce are you SERIOUS?
bryce~ LOOK INTO MY EYES AND SAY THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW WE WERE FALLING APART! WE WEREN'T WORKING FOR MONTHS BEFORE KAYLA CAME!
addison~ FINE! I KNEW! I WANTED TO PRETEND THAT IT WASN'T HAPPENING!
bryce~ OK SO DON'T GET ON ME FOR PRETENDING, WHICH I WASN'T! I SWEAR I DIDN'T KNOW I LIKED KAYLA, BUT IT HAPPENED. AND IF SHE DIDN'T COME YOU WOULD STILL BE LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH
addison~ I LOVED YOU! I WANTED IT TO WORK BRYCE!
bryce~ I WANTED IT TO WORK TOO!
we both just looked at each other in awe. did we just...?
bryce~ you will always be so, so important to me.
addison~ and you will always have my heart.
bryce~ you know i really loved you
addison~ ...you should go see kayla.
bryce~ you want us to be together?
addison~ i want you to be happy. for you both to be happy. don't worry about me, i'll be okay.
bryce~ i didn't deserve you
addison~ just go see kayla, please. i can't afford to cry in front of you right now...
and thats when tears fell from her eyes. i grabbed her arm and brought her into a hug.
bryce~ shh....it's okay, its okay.
then she started beating my chest. i know she was hurting im glad she was taking it out on who hurt her. just not on kayla.
addison~ thank you, anyways.
she got off my chest and wiped her face.
addison~ bye bryce.
she went on her toes and kissed my cheek. then she got in her car and drove off.
