Beyond The Stage

The Concert?

Jimin's POV

When she tells me why she ran away from the concert, my heart breaks. Before I got to know her, or before I found out she was our soulmate, I had tried to think of why they would leave. At first, I didn't know what to think, but when Jungkook, Taehyung, and Hoseok started falling apart, I couldn't think of anything positive. Out of all the reasons I had tried to come up with, I never thought it would be because she didn't think she was worth it.

Alexis has a lot of self-esteem issues that she shouldn't be having. She's way too beautiful and kind to be undeserving of anything, and I hate that she thinks that. If this is anything like what I made the guys go through for Blood, Sweat, and Tears, I will never do it again. It hurts just as much on the other end. So I make a silent promise right then and there to change her mind. We have all the time in the world, after all. 

"Next time I ignore you, for any reason, I give you full permission to hit me or scold me." I say, still holding her. I couldn't stop my own tears from falling. It feels amazing to have her in my arms, but I wouldn't let go even if I wanted to.

"I would never." She gasps.

I laugh, "You're so precious." We hold each other in silence before slowly pulling away from each other. With our hands intertwined, we leave the room and go back to the others.

We go back into the living room. All the guys are out there, waiting for Alexis so they could say goodbye. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jin are playing a card game on the table. Hoseok has his phone out in front of him, but he was watching them play. On the other end of the couch, Yoongi was watching the television.

Namjoon has a notebook laid out on the other side of the table. He has his earphones in, so it is probably his composition book. He most likely got it from his studio while Alexis and I were in the room.

"Do you have a ten?" Jungkook asks Jin. He is smirking, so he knows that Jin has one.

Jin sighs, and hands it to him without a word. Taehyung looks lost, "How did you know he had one? I thought it was a king." His eyes crinkle as he looks back and forth between the two, but he has the most books.

"How are you even confused, you're winning." Yoongi points out. Hoseok laughs.

"Pay attention to your show." Jin huffs, getting annoyed.

"Sore loser much?" Jungkook comments. I feel Alexis let go of my hand, as Jin argues in the background. She walks towards Jin, grabbing his attention. He loses his focus for a moment, before continuing.

"Hello Alexis." He says. The members all look up, but eventually resume what they were doing. It was obvious that she wasn't going to leave immediately anymore. The calm atmosphere returns, more comforting now without the tension. It might have been my fault, but our relationship seems more solid now. None of them can deny, that with all eight of us here, it just feels right.

"Can you believe this? They are bullying me." Jin complains to Alexis. She sits on the floor next to Jin, laughing. I go to sit in between Yoongi and Hoseok. Namjoon takes out his earphones and sets them down, suddenly finding the game more interesting.

"It's not bullying. Your just being overdramatic." Jungkook says.

"He has a reason to be though, I am winning." Taehyung mentions. Both Jungkook and Jin glare at him now. I laugh at their antics.

"Don't be too mea-," Alexis pauses. She looks at Jin's cards and hisses through her teeth, "Yeah, nevermind. Your definitely losing." Jin is speechless, his ears get red. Jungkook laughs with his whole chest. The kind of laugh that takes your breath away, and makes everyone smile. Which it did.

"Wow, that was harsh." Hoseok says. Namjoon agrees. 

Alexis blushes, "Sorry Jin." 

Even though he is embarrassed, he uses it to his advantage. "Can you help me win then?" He asks her nicely. She smiles and nods. The other members groan.

"That's not fair hyung, you're good at almost every other game. Someone else needs to win for once." I say. It's true. He's good at a lot of family games, and I know it's because of skill, his luck is not very good.

"Let's keep that winning streak going then, yeah?" Jin asks Alexis.

"Of course." She replies. The game went by slow, with all four of them using strategy. Taehyung already had a good lead, so he ended up winning, but Alexis and Jin managed to get second place.

They played a few more rounds until all of us were playing. Even Yoongi. We had to use three card decks for the game to last for than a few minutes. It was relaxing. It hasn't even been a week yet, and Alexis has already secured herself into the group. We all were pretty accepting of her as our soulmate, even myself with my doubts, and it wouldn't be the same without her now. She can make the whole room light up just by entering. Her dazzling smiles, her entrancing laugh, her mesmerizing kind eyes, and her captivating nature is a gift that anyone would be considered blessed to be around. Nevermind be bonded to. If this is what it is like now, I can't imagine what it would be like to fall more in love with her. 

Halfway through the fifth game, Namjoon mentions something I completely forgot about. "I forgot to ask, did you have everything packed already? I know you've been busy. Did you need help packing?"

We have to leave in two days for the tour. I packed a while ago, so I didn't even think about asking Alexis. I wonder if she has bought new clothes since teleporting. She is running out of money, so maybe not. I wish she would just let us buy clothes for her.

"Packing for what?" She asks innocently. My eyes widen. All the members go silent.

After a moment, I answer first, "We leave for the tour in two days. They didn't tell you?"

She shakes her head, "They said they would call me tomorrow morning and update me on the job. I don't start my first day until Monday of next week." It's Tuesday.

"Wait so you're not going?" Taehyung yells out loud.

Uh oh.
