"Lady Hokage,"

"Tsuki, you'll be free to go by tonight. The state you were in, you wouldn't have survived...However,"

"..."

"Back then, you had used the last of your chakra (energy) to teleport here, somehow, and that has been quite a blow to your muscles and brain. You'll need to get some more rest, learn to sit upright and walk, and stay home for a week before going on your next mission -"

'-Damn it-'

"-Besides, you've got some explaining to do."

Tsuki looked up. This, she felt, was a valid reason. She sighed,

"I never planned on coming here."

"...what?"

"I planned on coming to the one person I knew could save me. The legendary sannin (exceptionally powerful ninja) It's just a coincidence that you are the Hokage."

"... And what kind of a ninja would run from their own home?"

"This is not my home, Hokage-sama. As you know, according to the records, I died five years ago."

"That's what I wanna know. What happened, five years ago?"

Tsuki hesitated. If she told the truth, Kakashi's deed would come to light, and he would be finished. His career gone, badge stolen, life taken.

'A fitting revenge...' The thought crossed her mind, before she shook herself. She won't stoop as low as him.

"I came to my senses about two years ago, in a run-down hospital. It took me days before I could move freely. My body had gotten weak. My guess is, I must have gone into some form of hibernation. Outside, there were very few people in the village. They told me I had been out for over three years. The village had been attacked by rogues in the meantime, and the hospital had been deserted ever since then. I stayed back to help them as payback and left in a year. Since then, I've been free lancing as practice, to get back into shape, while helping the villagers. However, I ran into some rogue ninja some time ago. There were just too many of them, and I was almost defeated, so I teleported myself to you. You are the only one who can get me back in shape.

It was true. She really didn't remember much else.

"The whole thing took you five years, you say?"

"Yes ma'am."

"In that case, this teleporting might take longer than you think. When did the fight with the rogue ninja occur?"

"Two days after a full moon."

"... Well, that makes it a week. It's a full moon tonight."

The Hokage forced her to bedrest and Tsuki didn't really have a choice because she knew she had to listen to her if she wanted to get better.

She sure did protest, to which the Hokage said, "the village is in distress, help us as payback."

And now all she could do sit at home. No, not her home. She had none. This was Hatake Kakashi's house and she knew she wasn't welcome here.

Because what was more annoying than being confined to one room, was seeing his face, who had taken a few days off to "nurse her back to health".

And so when Kakashi handed her the soup he made, she felt conflicted.

"Kakashi..."
