Background :
A water-style clan that has the power to go beyond controlling water and water bodies, chose to keep no surname as surnames act as tags and can endanger them. The members may take their own surnames if and when they wish to.
Some fifty years ago, the head of this nameless clan had been forced to sign a pact with the head of the then Mizukage, to end their shinobi ways.
However, once in several years, a talent is born in every clan. That talent, was Tsuki.
Twenty-seven years ago, when Tsuki's grandfather saw the newborne baby, he realised the genius in it. So he made a secret pact with his good friend, Kakashi's grandfather, that, should the baby Tsuki ever discover the unspoken powers of their clan, she was too seek immediate refuge within the Hatake clan.
And the only way to do that, was marrying into it. Had she stayed as Sakumo Hatake's daughter, questions would arise, since Sakumo Hatake had no records of having a second child. But, records of orphanages were easy to manipulate, and so, Tsuki escaped into Konohagakure when she was twenty one, and Kakashi was forced to marry her.
In rage and hatred, the young Kakashi planned the perfect way to get rid of this mess - he murdered her by pushing her into a volcano. He used to be an ANBU member so it was easy to conceal the details and minute evidences.
