Charizard landed in front of the Pokemon Center. Ash jumped off of his pokemon and returned him to his Pokeball. Ash put on his coat and walked in to meet Nurse Joy. He was about to walk towards the nurse, but someone rushed past him and grabbed her hand.
"Oh, Nurse Joy! My heart-" Ash delivered a punch to Brock's stomach, knocking the wind out of him. The trainer then followed to drag him out of the Pokemon Center, leaving a confused Nurse Joy.
Meanwhile...
"Come on guys, hurry up!" A young man shouted to his fellow friends.
"Max, the tournament isn't going anywhere!" The older sibling shouted towards her younger brother.
"I know May, but I want to sign up before all of the better rooms are gone!" The younger siblings replied. May could only help but sigh at her brother's antics.
"Max will never change, will he, Dawn?"
"He won't. For a very long time." The blue-haired trainer replied. Another one of their fellow friends came up from behind them.
"I agree with Dawn-" The trainers witness Brock thrown out of the Pokemon Center. They all rush to Brock's aid.
"Brock! Are you okay?" Misty helped Brock up.
"Most likely flirted with Nurse Joy again." Iris rolled her eyes.
"Then a guy punched me in the stomach and threw me out!" Brock grunted.
"Well, let's go make him regret it." The young trainer said.
"Good idea, Max." Serena agreed with everyone else.
"What did he look like? Any idea?" Dawn asked.
"I couldn't tell, but he was wearing a black cloak."
Meanwhile...
"I would like to register for the Master's Tournament, please. I also apologize for that pervert's actions." Ash apologized and handed his Pokedex to Nurse Joy.
"It's alright. I should probably thank you. One moment please." Nurse Joy put his Pokedex onto the scanner. After a few seconds, Ash registered for the tournament. "Alright, Raiden, your room is in the Arceus suite. Good luck." Nurse Joy smiled.
"Where's the Arceus suite?"
"It's on the top floor. You'll notice it compared to the other rooms." Ash nodded.
"I see. Thank you. Have a good day." Ash said his farewell and picked up his keycard. Before he could walk towards the entrance, he stopped. And the person who stopped was someone he didn't want to see.
"Hey, you!" Max shouted, pointing towards Ash.
"What do you want," Ash spoke coldly. The trainer was not happy to see them.
"You threw our friend Brock out, and we want you to apologize for that." The older sister said.
"I could care less about him. I refuse."
"Then, let's have a battle. If I win, you apologize to Brock, but if you win, you're free to go." Max challenged.
"I'm not wasting my Pokemon's energy," Ash said, walking away.
"I knew your Pokemon were weak." Ash stopped in his track, remembering flashbacks of when his "friends" called him weak. Ash turned around and looked at him.
"Hm. A battle it is then."
~~~
"Mighteyena, let's go!" Max threw the Pokeball into the air, revealing a wolf-like Pokemon.
