Chapter 2 : A mysterious encounter

(Your POV)

" I love walking around through this garden, I feel so free here " you thought to yourself . " If only I could stay here , instead of the palace " . you continued to think to yourself as you walked along the lush bamboo stalks . Your ( f/c) kimono started to blow in the wind . You looked up to the sunlit sky dramatically and said " I should probably head back to the castle right about now , mother must be worried sick " you thought to yourself while stroking a small stalk of bamboo . " But maybe I could feed my koi fish first , ". You continued walking , and pretty soon you came upon your koi pond . It was a small pond surrounded by beige stones . As soon as you arrived , a few small koi showed themselves . They began to become really jumpy , as soon as you hovered their food over the small pond . began to feed them , but a shiny object in the middle of the pool caught your eye . Out of curiosity , you reach toward the black and shiny object . Your hand breeched breeched the waters surface , causing your sleeve on your (f/c) kimono to become soaked . Once you got a grip on the object , you managed to get it out of the pond and dry it off . " Oh , my goodness . Its a throwing star , what is this doing here ? " . The black throwing star glinted in the sunlight . As you are stroking the shiruken , a mysterious figure dressed in black is watching you from the distance . But out of nowhere , the figure attacked you . Your ( e/c) eyes widen in fear , as the mysterious figure grabs you from behind . He covers your mouth and demands " Do not say a word , (y/n) " . " How do you know my name ? Answer me ! " you demanded . You try to free yourself from the figures , but his grip is too tight . You struggle and squirm trying to get the mystery figure to release you. " Its okay Princess (y/n ) please calm yourself " he whispered into your ear. " I just need my throwing star back , and then I will be on my way. " You just attacked me to get a throwing star back? How dare you , you had no right to attack me ! If we ever meet again, you will be punished! " you yelled angrily . After your rant , you oblige and gave the mysterious figure his throwing star back. The mysterious proceeded to make a quick exit , but you stop him by saying " Wait , who are you and why was your throwing star in my koi pond ? " . The figure turned to you and said " You will find out everything in due time (y/n) " . He then walked back toward you , kneeled down , and planted a kiss on your hand . " Goodbye princess (y/n) " he said in a suave tone before making a quick exit . After the mysterious figure left , you just stood there shocked by what just happened. " I wonder who that mysterious man was ? " you whispered to yourself . " Is he my destined one ? " you asked yourself as you looked up to the sky . Then after a few moments , you regain your senses and started to walk back toward the palace .
