"O-oh...I'm sorry for assuming. It was very rude of me."

I apologized quickly and bowed my head. Really, how can you be so dense, me!

He smiled and nodded. "No worries. Anyways, you should go back to your apartment and sleep. I'll tell you at breakfast time what we ought to do for today."

I yawned and covered my mouth with the book. Now I'm feeling sleepy.

"Yeah, I should go to bed now. Um..."

"Mm?"

"Does that mean you'll tell me over text?"

"No," he shook his head and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, "I'll come over and have breakfast at your place."

"Oh! Then," I took out my phone and removed the phone case, under it was my spare key card. I gave it to him, "here, take this."

His dark brown raised, "Are you sure you're going to give me a spare?"

I nodded and smiled, "Mhm! I trust you enough, you don't seem like a thief." I joked.

Of course I don't judge a book by its cover, but seeing all the furniture and materials in his apartment, I concluded that he must be earning a lot to afford expensive and branded things, even his cookware were imported from Germany and Italy. I knew because I also came from a well-off family.

"You..." He trailed off.

"Hm?"

He shook his head as he smiled sweetly, his cute dimple showing. "Okay," he stood up and he offered his hand for me to stand, "Then off you go, you need to sleep."

I chuckled, "Sure, thanks for the gift!"

I said as I walked out of his apartment.

I fished my key card from my jeans pocket but it wasn't there. I felt it through my other pocket, but it wasn't there. I started to panic.

Then I remembered, I left it! I forgot to bring it with me.

I passed inferring of my door, how can I get in? Oh how clumsy, me!

Hesitantly, I knocked on Viktor's door. I hope he wasn't about to sleep yet. I'd hate to disturb him. Some time after his door opened, his hair was a bit messy.

"I, I hope I wasn't disturbing?" I managed to smile. His looks like he was about to close his eyes and fall asleep.

"No, you're not. What's the matter?" He asked, his voice groggy.

"Um, I-I forgot my key, key card a-and...could I borrow the spare?"

"Sure thing, let me get it for you.''

He left without closing the door, so, does that mean he didn't hate me? I thought he would. Actually I was afraid he would.

He returned with the spare key in hand, the one I gave him earlier.

"Thank you so much, Viktor."

He nodded silently. I walked to my door and swiped it. I pulled the door handle but it wouldn't budge. It was still locked. Did I swipe it wrong? I swiped the key card again but the door still couldn't open.

"Something wrong?"

I jumped a bit from hearing Viktor's voice behind me.

"You, you weren't asleep?"

"How could I sleep knowing that you're not? Give me the key card?"

I gave it to him and he examined it. He called a staff and inquired about it through the phone. All the while, I was looking at him wondering what was wrong with the key card.

He was on his phone, his one leg supporting 70 percent of his body weight and the other foot tapping silently on the floor. His arm dangled comfortably at his side, his messy hair looking so...smexy.

He ended the call and I inquired, "Is there a problem?"

"Yes," he said, "it seems like your spare is defective. They're gonna replace it tomorrow."

"What? How is that possible? More importantly, where can I sleep?"

"I inspected the card and there was a damage in it's sensor, did something happen with this thing?" He asked and gave me the key card back to me.

Thinking about it, I revealed shyly, "Well...I do remember dropping it in the sink full of...water."

Gah, I can feel my face turn red! "I-I'm so sorry for troubling you, Viktor."

"No, you didn't. It's what I should do."

"Thank you very much for your help."

Flipping fudgecakes, he must think that I'm too useless for society. My God, Asia why are you so clumsy!

He nodded, grinned like a mischievous cat and said, "You can't enter your apartment."

"Well, y-yeah," I hung my head dejectedly. Ugh, seems like I can't sleep for today but that's okay! I was used to the hospital's horrible shifts, especially since I'm a surgeon.

He stepped closer to me, bent down and whispered huskily, "Asia,"

"Yeah?"

My heart almost leaped out of my chest at what he said next, "You're going to sleep with me."
