Chapter 23

(This is going to be a long chapter so I hope you enjoy)

I ended up jolting awake that night. I slowly sat up and noticed all the girls were still asleep. I walk out to the balcony and I lean against. I don't know why I woke up but something seems off. I jumped down and sat at one of the benches where we had dinner. I started to meditate and I heard movement behind me. I quickly got up and wrapped vines around my arms while letting some of it stay on the floor

I look around and see tokyami. I tilted my head and sat back down as I removed my vines "what are you doing up?" I asked confused

"I could ask you the same thing" he said and sat next to me

"I just woke up randomly, I just have a bad feeling about tomorrow... and if something bad does happen I hope it's not at night" I said and looked up

"I understand but why do you want it to be day?" He asked confused

"I have a lot of plants that work better when it's night but I can't control it, most of my pretty flowers grow thorns and have minds of their own... it has nothing to do with the dark, it just deals with the moon" I explained and grew a datura from my hand, having a slight glow to it.

"Well, the best advice I can give you is to just keep working on controlling it, I know it's hard when we train during the day but I understand more than anyone" he said and looked at me

I nodded and smiled "thank you, you're the only person who would get it" I said and laughed

"Yeah, try and get some sleep, I bet we have more training tomorrow and will have to get up early" he said and stood up.

I nodded and threw a vine on the balcony while wrapping my wrist around it "try and get some sleep too, see you in the morning"

"See you in the morning y/n" he said and went in the boys dorm. The vines began to shrink and went up. I got on my bed and closed my eyes. After a bit I finally fell asleep and peacefully

The next day we woke up early and my gut feeling got worse and I looked at tokoyami a little worried.

"Y/n tell Mr. Aizawa about your gut feeling" he whispered to me and I nodded

Once we split off I went to mr. Aizawa "um mr. Aizawa?"

"Hm?" He said and looked at me

"I have this feeling that something bad might happen today and I don't know why. I just wanted to let you know that we should just be careful today" I said and scratched the back of my head

"Don't overthink it, if something does happen we will be ready" he said reassuringly and placed a hand on top of my head "now go train your quirk" he said and got in his sleeping bag

I nodded and left to go train. I worked on trying to maintain my lighting form as I call it. I was breathing hard but tried to stay up. I then started to run along the mountain and swing from branches. I then lunched myself in the air and touched the clouds. I then started falling backwards with my arms out. I then turned around and grabbed a tree before I did a soft landing. I was still in my light night form and was about to pass out. I started to run back while panting and started to swing again to the camp. I arrived and started to cough while I was hunched over slightly. I grabbed some water and laid on the floor while drinking it, slowly getting out of my lighting form. I saw on the students looked concerned and i tilted my head. Aizawa walked to me and kneeled down "doesn't that hurt?" He asked confused

"What?" I asked and looked down at my arms. Parts of my skin was falling off like petals off a flower and it was burned. All of a sudden I felt horrible pain. I started screaming and crying while biting my lips hard "holy fuck this hurts!!" I cried out and stood up but fell. My legs felt like jello from all the running. Momo came over and started to wrap my arms "it's alright y/n" she said to me and placed a hand on my face. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. I then felt something cold on my legs and arms and looked to see Todoroki helping me. Mr. Aizawa picked me up and brought me to a room where I passed out.
