Here it is! Enjoyyyy, it took me forever to write. I know I said soon, but it's here now and that's what matters lmao.

Chapter 1 - Welcome! Prepare to be Kidnapped!

Percy woke up in a dark, dimly lit room.

He blinked multiple times before getting used to the lighting in the room. No... not room...

Percy looked up with wide eyes, fully awake now, remembering where he was.

The phone call. The fake government people. The fight...

He vaguely remembered being knocked out by those two men, and they probably brought him here. Wherever here was.

A thick cloth was stuck in his mouth, preventing him from making any loud noises, and his hands were tied together behind his back.

His whole body was sore like it had been tossed around for a while. It probably was, seeing as he was inside a moving vehicle.

Percy squinted to see outside the window, where a faint light came from. He must've not been out for very long. He remembered that it was barely noon when he went over to Frank's house.

Oh, gods, Frank, Percy thought worriedly, He's probably wondering where I am right now.

And the rest of their friends, including Annabeth, will start to worry if he doesn't show up by nightfall.

Percy sighed in frustration. The last couple of months had been the best, and now it was like life was mad that he was having such a good time.

The vehicle, Percy assumed it was a truck, veered sharply to a side, throwing him into the wall. He groaned, and suddenly the truck came to a stop.

Percy heard voices arguing outside for a while before they stopped. Then, the rear doors of the truck swung open.

He hissed at the light that momentarily blinded him, and put his head down because his arms weren't available to block the light.

"Well you weren't knocked out for all that long," a voice said gruffly, "I thought you said he wouldn't come around for at least an hour. It hasn't even been 30 minutes."

When Percy's vision came back, he saw Luke glare at the other man, "How was I supposed to know he'd wake up so fast?"

The two bickered for a little longer until they remembered that Percy was sitting there and watching them, unimpressed. Luke leaned forward and pulled the gag out of Percy's mouth, making him cough.

"Who even are you?" Percy asked, his voice hoarse, "What do you want?"

"We need information about your dad," Steve said, his voice hard. The guy's name probably wasn't Steve, but Percy was tired of referring to him as "the other man".

"My dad? Why-" Percy started, but Luke cut him off.

"Just answer the question, Jackson," he said exasperatedly, "This guy over here is already too much to handle."

Percy knitted his eyebrows, "I don't know much about my dad, and even if I did, why would I tell you?"

Luke and Percy had a staring contest until Luke looked away and exhaled, "He's telling the truth."

Steve looked like he was going to break something, "Then what do we do now? We need some information to give to her, otherwise..."

He shuddered, "I don't want to think about it otherwise."

Luke smacked Steve on the back of his head, "You idiot, you know he has ears right? He can hear everything, and don't you dare say anything important."
