I'm Ruby, Lady Ruby Vincent, my Mother is French while my Father is Italian. And funnily enough I was actually born and raised in England. It's the year 1816 and I have recently turned 16 which means I have come of age to marry with my parents "acceptance", it's not really acceptance they are forcing me to marry. Little do my parents know I do not wish to be married unless I am very deeply in love with the man I am to be wedded with, I do not want to have my hand forced to a man whom is basically a stranger to me. I hope that I will be able to forever spend my life with the man of my dreams, the love of my life, i would hate for my life to be spent miserable with a man that displeases my up most wishes.

I currently sit here at my vanity looking at my just awoken, tired face in my silver mirror. My eyes are green like emeralds and my hair a nice Auburn with sunset orange highlights. I style my long, light hair in a bun (liks an elsa coronation bun from frozen if you dont know who elsa is) and put on a gorgeous deep purple dress. I leave my bedroom and head for the dining area for breakfast, the dining area is a large room with a long rectangular table, we have a dazzling, shining chandelier above the table where my Mother and Father are seated waiting for me to join them for breakfast.
"Ruby, you've decided to join us to break our fast I see" says my mother, she has eyes exactly like mine, green like emeralds.
"Yes I have, I awoke from my slumber and am dressed for the day" I try to smile knowing what today holds ahead and what it shall bring me.
"You look beautiful Ruby, hopefully you will find the perfect man to be wedded with today. No man can resist an astonishing woman like you pumpkin" my father says with a grin.

My father has called me pumpkin ever since the day I was born. It is a very funny story actually. 16 years ago my mother and father were on a trip when my mother went into labour they had to stop the carriage at a cute little pumpkin farm. And that's how I was born, in the barn of a pumpkin farm, and it's crazy because I'm allergic to pumpkins.

"Well I hope to find a man that is both successful and charming. We may break our fast now" I really do mean this, 'to find a man successful and charming', and not only that but to be profoundly in love with him.

After breakfast my mother, father and I head to the front door of our house. The doors are big and grand, we're a pretty wealthy family and my parents want to keep it that way, they encourage me to wed a man richer than we ever could be. I hop in the carriage and we set off to start our day at a very important ball to meet suitors. This is going to be a long day.
