The soft gentle smile on her face brings tranquility to his heart, and even the gentleness of her voice can make anyone addicted.
It didn't help that their arms were slowly wrapped around his back, holding him close that he couldn't help but sigh pleasantly. Along with the gesture was a whisper of affection, that made him realize the redamancy that came with it. Before he knew it her lips, soft as a petal, flew over to his own—Eyes of lychnis hues opened upon the Sol's piercing gaze. He blinked once, then twice, processing the strange dream about Y/n.
That dream... I shouldn't be thinking about it, especially when we're relatives.
Diluc slowly turned over to see his cousin, uniform ready, and hair tidied. It seems as if she was about to wake him up, hand on his shoulder. "Good morning," she greeted in a whispery voice, smiling at the red-haired male before her.
"Good... morning," Diluc replied, slow and drowsy, making Y/n laugh.
Diluc groaned, both at the sun, and at the fact that he wasn't able to at least prepare before Y/n.
Despite his slight annoyance, the scent of an English Breakfast lingered, inviting him a place in the kitchen."Good morning," Diluc replied back, a little guilty that he didn't wake up before her to remind her of classes. It was seven in the morning as of now, making Diluc wonder how Y/n had woken up before him.
Then, he remembered that he and Y/n had shared a bed that night.
Diluc felt an emotion bubble, especially as Kaeya was by work, and Y/n asking only him for his assistance in the terrors of her unfavored subjects, and finishing off with a movie about war between different races, a romance between android, and mortal, and the secret plan to rewrite the laws of the world. It was awfully beautiful, the story, the animation, and the lore."Diluc, is something wrong?" He snapped off of his thoughts, seeing the small concerned gaze Y/n gave him. The plate was in front of him, and here he was, staring to space.
Diluc shook his head, and started to eat. "This tastes good..." Diluc mumbled, making the chef smile. "That is an English breakfast, of course it tastes good," Y/n flattered herself, making him grin even the slightest.
"Isn't the egg too runny though?" Y/n looked at his plate. It looked perfectly fine. "A runny egg is perfection in the eyes of Masterchef's judges," said the female. Diluc looked back at the egg, sighing.
"I should be the one to cook for you. You needn't do this." Y/n smiled. "Of course I do! What kind of cousin would I be if I didn't?"♚
"You're a little late than usual," Xingqiu commented, seeing the female arrive five minutes later than usual. She chuckled, "I might have overslept."
In a familiar seat, Barbara and Keqing have been talking for some time, finalizing the cheer for the Sports Festival.
"Barb's working hard," Chongyun mused, eating a mint-flavored candy. "Is it because they fired her up again?" Y/n looked at the male with confusion on her face. Xingqiu notices the lack of information she has, and smiled nonchalantly.
"Sad. You missed the rivalry scene," Y/n's ears perked up at the male's comment, gaping like a fish.
She immediately knew what it meant.
