Chapter 2 The introduction

After giving this guy a bath, forcefully, I cleaned up the water that had spilled out. I let out a sigh before standing up from the crouching position I was in. "What's your name anyways?" I asked. He looked at me and gave a straight answer, "it's Noiz." I all of a sudden got light headed and collapsed. In a instant I thought I was on the ground but I was in noiz's arms. "Careful, idiot" he said with a smirk, I got flustered before getting free from his grip. He looked at me with no expression, his yellow eyes met my brown orbs. "We need to find you a place to sleep" I mumbled standing again. Noiz just looked up at me as I left him sitting there, laying down a blanket and pillow for him I sat down on my bed. Noiz walked in as I layed back, "your a hand full...you know that right?" I said sarcastically while looking up at him.

He shrugged, "maybe that's the reason why my parents left me to fend for myself at a younger age" he said looking at the makeshift bed I had put together. Feeling guilty for saying that I let out a sigh, "you can have the bed for tonight" I said looking away. Noiz looked at me confused, "why?" he tilted his head to the side, almost dog like. I grabbed the pillow from my bed and shoved it into his face, "just shut up and go to sleep" I groaned sitting beside the pillow and blanket. As I layed down I heard noiz climb onto the bed and get under the covers. "No goodnight kiss?" He asked in a playish tone. Ignoring him I slipped on my pink headphones, which had my favorite songs programmed into it.

Slowly falling asleep I felt something warm get behind me, not having the energy to look I fell asleep. Once morning came my entire body felt warm, when I opened my eyes I found myself heald by noiz. "Oi!," I growled, "get off." Struggling under him I got tired fast, since I had just woken up. He snickered sitting up and leaning towards my face, only inches away from my lips I closed my eyes shut to prepare myself, but nothing happened. When I opened my eyes I saw noiz had layed on my chest. Letting out an annoyed sigh I tried to get my arms out of his grip. He apparently fell asleep as he just lied there on me. I then stroked his head before I heard him let out a groan. "He sleeps so easily" I thought to myself.

Rubbing his head once more I soon discovered he liked to have his head pet. I soon found myself pinned under him and I was getting hot, "who would've known wolves could be this warm?" I though to myself. I looked at the peaceful boy as he breathed in and out, he was even more cute while he slept, but when he's awake he's a pain in my ass. I then realized I could sit up without him having a grip on me, he wrapped his arms around my waist thpugh, as I completely sat up. I let out a sigh as I remembered when I found him as the dog. I wanted to know why he had a huge gash in his arm. Looking at his arm I could see the band aids I had put over it to hold the swab down.

Noiz began to stir before his eyes opened, he noticed the position we were in. He had no facial expression, unlike me I was embarrassed as hell. I could feel my cheeks heating up as he let go and cupped my chin. He pulled me towards him and kissed me on the lips, pushing away in embarrassment I couldn't look at him at this point. I was startled when I heard a beeping sound, when I looked at my coil it read 8:30. "Shit!, I'm gonna be late" I growled standing up and letting noiz's face fall into the pillow I had slept with. Getting dressed I got ready to head out, "noiz, you need to stay hidden if my grandma comes home from her work" I said as he walked up behind me.

He just stared at me with a blank face as if he was saying ok. I got ready to leave as noiz headed back to the room, I felt bad having to leave him here alone, but then again I knew he could take care of himself. Once I got to work it was 9 on the dot. Panting heavily I got ready for work. Once I was ready to start the day the phone began to go off. Picking it up I gave the usual 'hello' and 'how may I help you today?' As I took the order I kept on glancing up because it seemed as if something was flying around in the shop. Once I was done taking the order I got up and looked around for what the figure could be. As I continued to look I was startled when a red bird flew into my face.

"Beni?" I said confused looking at the bird allmate. "Where's koujaku?" I asked as the bird perched himself on a box eye level to me. "He'll be here shortly" he said as his tail flicked a couple of times. "Where's the mutt?" He asked looking around for ren, who he called mutt since they had known each other forever. "Over there in my arm bag" I said pointing to the bag which sat beside an old rusty shelf. Without any hesitation the small bird flew over to the bag and climbed in. The shop door opened, revealing the every day koujaku. "Yo," he said with a wave "how's work going so far for today?" He asked with a kind smile.

"So far no orders" I said letting out a sigh. "You look tired" he commented as he had noticed the bags under my eyes. "I was uh..." I trailed off, "I was woken up by grandma really early" I lied looking away. I was startled when the phone began to go off. I answered the call, as I took the order koujaku waited for me to get off. Once I was done I let out an annoyed groan "ugh...I can't live like this" I growled, "but its the only closest job to grannies place." Koujaku gave a nod, "I recently got a lot more girls coming in to get their hair cut" he said with a smile. "Any cute ones?" I asked knowing he's always checking out the girls that stop by. "Tons" he exaggerated with a smile.

"Question," he said folding his arms, "who's dog is that out there?" He asked looking out the shop door. I shot a glance towards the door before standing, "I don't know I'll check" I said going outside. There laying outside the door was the familiar dog, noiz. He looked up at me like sup. I clenched my fist in annoyance before crouching beside him, "you can't be here" I said as he sat up. "No dogs- I mean animals are allowed inside, besides if you don't like children I wouldn't stick around. " He then licked my face, "really?" I said pushing him away, "I gotta get back to work." As I stood I heard tacking sounds move away from me. When I looked down noiz was gone. "Did I make him upset?" I thought to myself.

"Aoba," koujaku said peering outside, "the phones going off." Quickly getting into the shop I answered the call. Since my back was towards koujaku and the shop door I couldn't tell what just made the shop bell go off. Knowing koujaku wouldn't go without saying goodbye I wanted to know who just walked in. After 20 minutes from taking an order i was scared shitless when I found noiz right behind me. "Who's your friend?" Koujaku asked pointing to noiz. "U-uh this is noiz" I stutered looking up at noiz, "noiz this is my childhood friend koujaku" I said looking to koujaku. Noiz just stared at koujaku with no expression, "why do I have a feeling they don't like each other?" I thought to myself as I noticed it was almost my lunch break.
